Summary

Very experienced designer (typically 15 years or more) in a given discipline, capable of completing detailed electrical design from job definition drawings. Preferably, AA or above in electrical design-drafting or similar technical drawing field.

• Possesses strong working knowledge of AutoCad software. Properly creates, revises, manages, stores, and inventories own AutoCad electronic files. Maintains client’s drafting protocols and standards. Knowledge of high voltage power, motor control systems, switchgear, transformers.

• Using Facility Definition drawings, can complete plan and detailed drawings associated for a given project. Can accurately prepare material take-off lists. May check other designer’s work.

• Modifies machine design to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in AutoCAD version 2000 or higher. Experience with 3-D drafting a plus.

• Must be able to understand fabrication and machining techniques and limitations, and design to accommodate maximum fabricating and machining efficiency.

• Must be able to multi-task and set priorities according to changing requirements.
<br>
• Have excellent organizational skills.
