We live in Bakersfield and wanted to take our dog (who is a puppy still but a bully breed) to meet with the animals before bringing one of them home in order to ensure a good fit. No one answered the phone despite multiple attempts and no one bothered to return messages that were left on the voicemail. The dogsindanger site now shows one of those animals as having been put down. I understand people are busy but I think it's very disappointing to say the least that they cannot even be bothered to return phone calls to people who want to take their animals.]]>

<![CDATA[I have a male guinea pig that I cannot have anymore due to the fact that I'm moving into an apartment that will not allow small animals. He is really very human friendly, animal friendly, etc. He likes to cuddle, and he's very vocal when it comes to what he likes and dislikes. He's a really good companion for someone that likes small animals. Like I said, the only reason why I'm posting is because I cannot take him to my new apartment. I have pictures if you want to see them, he's half white and half chocolate. If you are worried about the cage and accessories, I'll include those too. I have a pretty big cage, big enough for a rabbit but its his. I also have a couple of bowls and hiding houses, and finally a harness and leash for small animals but he doesn't use it. She is spayed, current on vacs, and on preventatives. Great with dogs and curious about but not harmful to cats. She is friendly, loving, playful and loves to run around and play tag, well at least be chased around. She doesn't growl at all. She isn't a yappy dog. She is not a pig nor a picky eater. She does get really excited sometimes and other times she's very calm. Overall she's a real sweetheart. She follows me around all over the house. She must go to a loving non abusive home and where there are no mean dogs and where she will be cared for. She is great with kids and anyone who will run and play and cuddle with her.
