Design has led the brand vision for the past 30 years and will continue to do so moving forward. <br> <br> Responsibilities: <br> * A 3D CAD Designer/Operator will work with Industrial Designers to interpret design concepts into 3D models for manufacturing tooling files of various sports equipment. <br> * Work within an integrated team of design, development and engineering. <br> * Create precise 3D files of designs in SolidWorks, based upon manufacturing requirements. <br> * Contribute to R&D team goals for designs, innovations, engineering, and brainstorming. <br> * Expert 3D CAD user (SolidWorks and Cosmos FEA preferred). <br> * Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and assembly process (injection molding tooling a plus). <br> * Understand 2D designs through interpretation from designers and product briefs. <br> <br> <br> Requirements: <br> * An understanding of the product design/development process. <br> * Solid understanding of product assembly through the use of 3D CAD software. <br> * Excellent presentation skills and comfort working with a group. <br> * Understanding of tooling and manufacturing processes. <br> * Consumer product mechanical engineering is required, design for manufacturing thought process (GD&T). <br> * Excellent computer skills with full proficiency in Microsoft Office. Adobe Illustrator knowledge a plus. <br> * Expert in 3D CAD software, surfacing modeling. Experience with SolidWorks and Cosmos FEA highly preferred. <br> * Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Designer, or related field.
