I am posting again, for a promoter that booked April 2nd had to cancel the show last minute. The bands that book with us will paid based on draw, headliners usually receive considerably more than bands in earlier time slots, of course this is based on draw as well. Sammy's has an amazing sound system. We ask for a 5% donation to the sound man, which is completely optional. pay is based as so: 6-25 (people) 60%, 26-49 70%, 50 or more 80%.. the cover is $10, so if you bring 6-20 people you'll be paid $36- $150; 26- 49 you'll be paid $-$180- $350; 50 or more $400 or more in some cases 25 people will get you 70%, 49 people will get you 80%, etc... these are rough estimates. but obviously the more people bring, the more money you will earn. The three of us have been playing together 1-2x weekly for over a year and have a very solid kernel to build on. Our music is along the lines of Folk-Rock with elements of Reggae, Funk and Jazz. We have a repertoire of about 15 originals and 15-20 cover songs that we practice and perform on a regular basis. Our first year together has been very productive with the release of a professionally produced EP, plus 17 gigs under our belt since last February and another 10 already lined up for this year.
