The front-end is a web-based application which makes heavy use of Javascript via the ExtJS library. The back-end is a LAMP stack: a MVC framework with Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. We need help in several technology areas, a candidate with in-depth knowledge in one or all of these areas is desired: Designing report templates under Eclipse BIRT (similar to Crystal Reports) to consume an XML data file and produce a PDF-based report. Writing PHP scripts to extract data from a MySQL database and write the results to file in XML format. While a strong command of PHP is necessary, a familiarity with JSON, AJAX, CSS, MVC and Zend Framework, RedHat Linux, Bash scripting, Subversion, Virtual Machines (vmware) is also helpful.
