Having owned a sound company twice in my life, I can tell you that sound men don't work for exposure. A sound guy does a tough, all day job that begins and ends with loading a lot of heavy gear in and out of a truck. Why do you think any decent sound crew would come work for you for drink tickets? Are the other vendors/services at your event working for free? I'm sure you can get free beer, food, porta-potties, and all the other stuff, right? Tell the porta-potty company about all the exposure you will give them and I am sure they will donate their time and service. What you want should cost at least $400 a day from any real sound company that can handle a large event like yours. Do you do your job for drink tickets? You disgust me, and, if won't pay someone reputable to provide decent production for your event, you deserve the bad sound and angry bands that you are going to get. ]]>
