Responsibilities -Diagnose and resolve customer inquiries related to operating software products in their environment. -Ensure all issues are resolved or escalated to the proper resources to resolve in a timely fashion. -Utilize information tools, training and experience, team communication to provide high level of customer satisfaction. -Record problem symptoms and status information through the use of a computerized problem management system. -Proactively maintain communications with internal clients through analysis and resolution process particularly in difficult situations, to keep them informed of status. -Maintain a working knowledge of internal client specific applications and architectures exposing vulnerabilities and/or improvements and recommending solutions. -Troubleshoot wide and local area networks including workstation access, applications software and functional server support, using knowledge of network operating systems or notifying the appropriate support organization. -Test and deliver patches, product releases and other company-supported upgrades and enhancements. -Identify problematic trends consistent with the infrastructure environments and provide thorough analysis and resolution. -Recommend, develop and implement enhancements to existing applications and workstations based on client requirements and stay current with alternative information systems and technology. -Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules. -Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies. -Recommend revisions to control documentation such as production check lists, operating procedures and policy manuals. Make and distribute authorized modifications as directed.
