<![CDATA[I have posted on here before with a couple of responses, then after a few correspondences, I hear nothing more. I really must be what a woman doesn’t want. How damaging can that be to an already damaged ego? Some responses sounded great then they throw me a curve like, “I smoke marijuana. I hope this is ok”? No its not. I don’t and expect the same. This is my dilemma. I am a true single dad. I have 3 lovely children. I have custody of my oldest child. He will be a teenager (Oh God!) next month. I pay a huge amount of child support for the other 2 children, leaving me with not enough to live a normal life. We are lucky to eat everyday, but we manage. It seems I am discovering most women are shallower than I originally thought. All I want is to find a friend that enjoys similar things. I enjoy all types of music with an emphasis on Rockabilly and Southern Rock. I have a huge admiration for 50’s style pin-up modeling, hotrods, and motorcycles. I enjoy camping, fishing, biker rallies (I am not a hardcore biker), car shows and cookouts. I don’t smoke and I am drug free and always have been. I enjoy cold beers after a long days work. I only drink liquor on occasion. These things are very important to me. I spent about 11 years of my life with someone that had absolutely nothing in common with me other than a child. I have been told too many times that these things are stupid. I have been told that I even look stupid. I don’t believe I look too bad for a 36 year old. I am average built, white, about 5’ 10” tall. I have dark brown hair (full and thick). I do have a bit of a belly but not bad. I am about 185 lbs. I have a full set of teeth and I didn’t have to buy them. I where blue jeans and t-shirts most of the time I have been told several times that I have a sarcastic and sometimes dark sense of humor. My ideal woman would understand parenthood. She would have very similar interests. She would enjoy staying in and watching a movie or be just as content going to a bike rally. She may or may not have children and would be 5’ to 5’10” tall. I’m not necessarily dying for a relationship(but not looking for just a summer fling either) since I will be somewhat busy when classes start(but I do make time for relationships when involved in one). Anyways, we’ll see what happens between now and then. Really, I’m just curious to see who’s out there. So about me: I am entering my 4th year at OSU, and plan to go to grad school but that destination may be in Ohio, or not. I like to think I’m fun and not unusual for the most part. (although I do try VERY hard to keep up with pop culture and the present; also, I'm fairly social as well but have a shy side sometimes) Unfortunately, I am not really into art or artistic things; however I can appreciate something if it strikes me. Of course, I could not live without football, Browns and Buckeyes all the way. I listen to most types of music except for: most music without words, screaming, gospel, really country songs (I like pop-country such as Faith Hill or Rascal Flatts). I am pretty open minded, and I hate when people think conservatively and can only think their way. I am definitely the “nice guy”, but definitely a “catch” as some would say. I am very romantic, sweet, and caring. Okay, so all of this may sound awesome and I’m sure you are wondering then what my flaws are: I’m not the tallest or muscular, but I’m definitely not overweight in the slightest. (I've been called "adorable", take it for what it's worth.) I sometimes get drunk despite knowing it’s wrong ( I am somewhat religious). I am easily irritated by old people who are mean and impatient with kids, or otherwise negative people. The littlest things can make or break me on any given day: waiting breaks me, polite people make my day. Who I think would be cool to meet: I think it would be cool to find a girl who accepts me for who I am, since you can only change a person to some extent. A sensitive caring girl I would say “Must Love Dogs”, but that has already been taken by a movie title.
