They are 11.5” x 3” in size, made in the USA of high-quality vinyl, and designed to remove easily without damaging paint. The bumper sticker, postage stamp, and envelope are on me. WHY: I’m an individual Obama supporter (from the Columbus area) and this is one way I’m choosing to help. I’m not acting on behalf of the campaign. For my part, I'm not voting for him because: 1) He IS the most liberal senator in Congress (<a href="http://www.npr.org/blogs/news/2008/01/obama_ranked_most_liberal_sena_1.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.npr.org/blogs/news/2008/01/obama_ranked_most_liberal_sena_1.html</a>) 2) He wants to repeal DOMA. 3) He's an admitted junkie (coke and pot, mostly). 4) He's an elitist. 5) He hangs out with crooks and racists. 6) He himself is a racist who considers babies to be "punishment". 7) He attends a church that pledges allegiance to the "mother continent Africa" and the Black Value System. 8) He celebrates Che. 9) His wife is a whiney elitist who believes she was able to get ahead in society in spite of America's attempt to hold her down; she graduated from Harvard. And she's only just now proud of America because her husband has made it this far (or maybe because he's running for president and anti-Americanism isn't popular in America, except in Hollywood, Berkeley, and a few other socialist hotspots). 10) He browbeats the hard-working Americans to give money to the poor and downtrodden, while he himself only gives a paltry 1% (though it did shoot up as high as 4% in the years after pursuing the presidency). 11) He won't make any tough decisions. 12) He doesn't understand fundamental economic principles, except of course for his favorite - Marxism - which will allow him to take from those who work and give it to those who will more than likely piss it away (e.g., the government). Case in point - the oil companies. They received a low 7% return on investment, yet because they are hedged against inflation risk (high oil prices are a direct result of the plummeting dollar, not oil profiteering), and benefiting from China & India's rapid industrialization, he wants to take it away. This, of course, will only entice oil companies to close, restricting supply ever further and thus increasing the price of gas. Meanwhile, schools like Harvard and OSU (yes, The Ohio State University) sit on billion dollar endowment funds and cry to Congress about needing subsidies. Fact: Harvard raked in a profit of $7 BILLION last year of their endowment fund investments alone - a 23% return! Why aren't we going after their profits? 13) He wants to deny law-abiding citizens their constitutional right to keep firearms. 14) He's not good at the job he has now; He only bothers to vote some of the time (he missed one-third of the votes in 2007), which, based on his record is actually probably better for America. 15) The guy is so cold-hearted that he actually supported legislation that allowed doctors to deny basic, fundamental care to babies so long as they were botched abortions. So, if you tried to kill your baby and failed, you simply wait until he's born, then just let him die. 16) He's a liar. 17) He's a cry-baby who only whines about how bad things are, but if you press him for details on how he can make it better, he has no plan; or worse, if he does have a plan, and it's to raise taxes so he can spend more on his liberal propaganda programs (like Midnight Basketball). 18) He wants a government controlled universal healthcare program. Universal healthcare should be one of our goals, but it should be provided by the open-market and NOT be administered in any way by the government. Think about having to get a kidney from the BMV. By the way, if the government did ever become the country's sole provider of healthcare, you can kiss beer, cheeseburgers and cigarettes goodbye, because the first thing our omniscient lawmakers would do is pass a series of laws to outlaw smoking, drinking and obesity in order to "bring down costs". Remember, Nazi Germany did the same thing. The actual Nazi Socialist Party Slogan was: "Your body belongs to the state. Your body belongs to the Fuhrer. Health is not a private matter." Barrack Hussein Obama is just bad. He's bad in the Senate, and he'd be even worse as the President. Frankly, I only think he got this far because the majority of his supporters are tripping over themselves to prove that they're not racist. (note: When Condi decides to run, she has my vote). By the way, while HE may not be a self-described Muslim, you can't overlook the fact that both his father and step-father were radical Muslims (fortunately, though, his mom was just an atheist), and that he spent time studying in Indonesia – the most Muslim nation in the world.]]>

Second, the oil would go on the international market, so it would be sold at market prices and thus would be sold at the current rate, so it would not lower gas prices. Because, were it not for their pandering to leftist environmental constituents, we could be pumping an amount of oil not much less that what we are now begging the Saudi's to ship to us out of the Arctic National Wildlife Range. But of course Democrats would rather the Bush Administration be in the position of imploring (a diplomatic word for begging) OPEC to not harm our economic recovery with production cutbacks that will raise the price of gas higher than it already is while the Democrats complain that Bush isn't doing enough about high oil prices. The fact that OPEC and terrorism have us over a barrel kind of blows away that tired old Democrat 'no blood for oil' mantra that liberals have been beating to death since before the Iraq part of the War on Terror began and in fact since the last war in Iraq some 14 years ago. The truth is it's total BS. Let's face it: We're the most powerful nation on the face of the earth, bar none. If we were really the greedy bastards the liberals say we are, we'd just go in, occupy the countries and take their oil. Truth is we are not only the most powerful nation on the face of the earth and the most freedom-loving, but also the most giving and compassionate. And not only have we freed the Iraqis from a murderous tyrant, we're helping them get their oil fields up and running again so they can produce oil to sell to us to feed our increasing demand for oil that the Democrats have rendered us unable to mediate at least partially with domestic oil. ]]>

The bill, which Gov. Ted Strickland is expected to sign later this week, would apply to people who had been convicted at least twice of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Under current law, authorities must get a warrant from a judge to test blood or urine for alcohol or drugs on people who don't initially give their consent. A few other states require mandatory blood testing but only when there has been a fatal crash or great bodily harm and police have probable cause that a driver is intoxicated. "Driving in Ohio is a right not a privilege," said state Sen. Timothy Grendell, the Chesterland Republican who sponsored the bill. "We can precondition that right on any condition we want that helps keep the other drivers on the road safe." Civil liberties advocates say the bill is unconstitutional, and they expect to challenge the law once it is enforced. Requiring a warrant is the way that the judicial system can play its role in checking the power of the state, said Jeffrey Gamso, legal director for the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio. It should be no surprise that a member of Congress is calling Barack Obama liberal. These are partisan times in which the election season brings out the heat. However in this case it really is unusual. Congressman Dan Boren is a Democrat. “Our nominee is not my first choice. Unfortunately, his record does not reflect working in a bipartisan fashion.” Obama is “the most liberal senator in the U.S. Senate.” Dan Boren’s statements about Barack Obama undoubtedly reflect his constituency as well as his own views. Describing himself as a centrist Democrat, Boren represents a mostly rural district in Oklahoma. Hillary Clinton won two-thirds of the vote in his 2ndn congressional district. As one of the youngest members of Congress at age 34, he may also be interested in long-term self-preservation if he has further political ambitions in the state. He is the only Democrat in Oklahoma’s House delegation in Congress, a conservative on many issues including his continued support for President Bush on the Iraq War. He is a lifetime member of the NRA and out of favor with environmental groups. His official biography is here. Boren was born August 2nd, 1973. He graduated from Texas Christian University in 1997 and obtained an MBA from Oklahoma University in 2000. He is married to Andrea Heupel and has an infant daughter. He may not be the only Democrat in Congress who is uncomfortable with Obama.
