The attitude is to leave everything on the pitch and to have a good laugh and a beer afterwards. Success is nothing short of winning the division (10 regular season games and 2 playoff games). Expected cost is $80 for the season fees and $30+ for jerseys. If the level of playing is exceptional I will sponsor some or all of the fees. The goalkeeper will have fees covered, reserve keeper (ie outfield player) will have half fees covered. Max # on a team is 8 -- I've already got 7 on each team. The team only plays 5 players in each weeks matchup, so it's good to have 8 players for those days when someone can't show up. But that said, you're not always guaranteed to play for the team that day... course that doesn't mean you can't shoot around and hang out and have fun. :) The APA works off of a "handicap" system. YOu are ranked according to your skill level. Lower the skill level the fewer games you must win to win the match. Higher the skill level the more you have to win. The better the player, the more they expect from you. What's in it for you? Fun game, fun people, and the APA has national tournaments in Vegas for local teams that win in their region with cash prizes.
