The writing circle at Miss Prothero's Books had a modest start on May 3. Patrick Caldwell's 2 pages about the slightly cracked city planner named Mindy was chosen in the opening story lottery. (To view the text of the two pages, visit missprotherosbooks.blogspot.com/2008/05/throwing-stones-at-cracked-houses.html.) Our next meeting is Friday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m. It's a potluck. Bring something you'd like to eat, drink or share. Also bring two pages that add to the story. Do not edit or rewrite. Your only objective is to get Mindy inside the house. Once inside the house, she must find a person and an artifact. Miss Prothero's Books is located at 1112 Santa Fe Drive. Call 303-572-2260 for directions and information.

On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month our group convenes to discuss everything from current events to movies. It’s a chance to hear perspectives of people from a wide range of ages, political views, spiritual beliefs, ethnic backgrounds and lifestyles. The strength of the group is its non-affiliation with any particular point of view.
The starter topic for Sunday, May 18, 2008 is health care. Do you believe we need to reform the current system? What do you think of the health care plans of the presidential candidates? Do we have to ration care? Should preventative care be promoted? What responsibility do individuals have – should we pay for expensive procedures due to lifestyle choices (smoking, obesity etc.)? As always, approach this issue from any angle you like.
The Sunday Morning Conversation group will meet May 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Whole Foods supermarket coffee shop in Superior (formerly Wild Oats). Apple Patch Diet

Introducing our unique natural weight loss capsule – that keeps working all day long. Simply take two Apple Patch Diet capsules in the morning with a full glass of water... THAT'S IT!

The 100% natural ingredients in Apple Patch Diet ensure you'll have NO harsh side-effects. Instead of having to fight hunger, or setting yourself up to fail by trying to psyche yourself up for marathon sessions at the gym, you can control your appetite and have the energy for steady, moderate exercise. Now YOU can lose weight safely, naturally and easily with new Apple Patch Diet.

With Apple Patch Diet with 500mg of Hoodia, YOU can lose weight without feeling hungry! Here's how it works:

When you eat, your body converts the food to blood sugar, or glucose, and you don't feel full until your brain receives the signal that glucose is present in sufficient quantities. Hoodia works by releasing a compound that is chemically similar tglucose but up to 100,000 times more powerful. The presence of this chemical signals your brain, via the hypothalamus, that you've had plenty to eat, so the hypothalamus, which acts as a control center, curbs your appetite and you don't feel hungry.
Apple Patch Diet contains 100% certified organic Hoodia, the desert plant with the miracle molecule that, in effect, deceives the brain into believing you are full, and even stops you from thinking about food.

When the implications of this miracle plant began to be investigated, Leslie Stahl of CBS 60 Minutes and Tom Mangold, a correspondent for BBC News, traveled to the Kalahari Desert, tried Hoodia, and both reported that they found it highly effective in suppressing the appetite.

Apple Patch Diet with Hoodia:

Curbs your appetite
Helps you feel full faster and stay full longer
Boosts your energy
Doesn't keep you up at night
Has NO side effects
Is completely safe

Apple Patch Diet with Hoodia contains no dangerous stimulants that cause adverse side effects. What Apple Patch Diet with Hoodia will do for you:

Curb your appetite almost immediately
Give you control over your appetite
Deliver the most effective natural appetite suppressant ever found
Lift your spirits via Hoodia's natural mood-enhancing qualities
Help you lose weight as you stop overeating
Put you in control with a 100% natural product with proven results

What Apple Patch Diet with Hoodia won't do to you, which other appetite suppressants might:

Won't give you the shakes Won't make your heart race or keep you awake at night Won't give you that "wired" feeling
Won't raise your body temperature
Hoodia works gently within your system and is so safe that it is classified as a dietary supplement, not a medicine. You will hardly notice its effect, but you'll find you don't feel hungry nearly as often or as much!

Use the link below to recieve a special buy one get one free offer!

http://applepatchdiet.com/md79231

Creating wealth, part time, in a recession proof business.

The wealthiest people in the world do not have a job. They do not trade their time for money. Rather, they create systems that generate monthly reoccurring income which give them the freedom to create additional systems that create more monthly cash flow. I always thought it would be really cool to own a utility or phone company. Imagine being able to leverage all that monthly income on bills people pay anyway. But who has the millions of dollars it takes to start a phone company? NOW WE CAN. My 15 year old company has quadrupled in size over the last few years and has created 1,000s of independently wealthy people in 20 countries and growing really fast. Yet, our greatest growth lies ahead with cell phones, video phones and other new technologies. No matter what happens to the economy, people will always pay their phone, internet and TV bills every month no matter what. This creates a constant reoccurring monthly cash flow that in turn creates freedom in your life and a lifestyle that you used to dream about as a kid. This is the company, the system, and the time. All you need to do is follow the amazing advice of multi-Billionaire Mr. Donald Trump and "TAKE ACTION".

There are no dues, fees, or weigh-ins at FA meetings. FA is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction.

Who Joins FA?
FA members are men and women of all ages, from the United States and abroad. Some of us have been obese; others have been anorexic, bulimic, or so obsessed with food or weight that we could not freely live our lives. Among us are people who have weighed as little as 62 pounds, more than 385 pounds, and of normal weight, obsessed with food and/or dieting.

Does the program really work?
Typically, FA members have tried any number of solutions to their problems with food, including (for many of us) years of diets or exercise. In FA, we have finally found an answer that is long-term. FA members have maintained normal weights and found freedom from obsession for more than twenty years. As more and more newcomers enter the program, the number of people with five or ten years of recovery continues to grow.

Are you a food addict?
To find out, ask yourself the following questions and answer them as honestly as you can:

1. Have you ever wanted to stop eating and found you just couldn't?
2. Do you think about food or your weight constantly?
3. Do you find yourself attempting one diet or food plan after another, with no lasting success?
4. Do you binge and then "get rid of the binge" through vomiting, exercise, laxatives, or other forms of purging?
5. Do you eat differently in private than you do in front of other people?
6. Has a doctor or family member ever approached you with concern about your eating habits or weight?
7. Do you eat large quantities of food at one time (binge)?
8. Is your weight problem due to your "nibbling" all day long?
9. Do you eat to escape from your feelings?
10. Do you eat when you're not hungry?
11. Have you ever discarded food, only to retrieve and eat it later?
12. Do you eat in secret?
13. Do you fast or severely restrict your food intake?
14. Have you ever stolen other people's food?
15. Have you ever hidden food to make sure you have "enough?"
16. Do you feel driven to exercise excessively to control your weight?
17. Do you obsessively calculate the calories you've burned against the calories you've eaten?
18. Do you frequently feel guilty or ashamed about what you've eaten?
19. Are you waiting for your life to begin "when you lose the weight?"
20. Do you feel hopeless about your relationship with food?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you may be a food addict.

How does 2nd Tier experience feel? Is some degree of enlightenment required for 2nd Tier realization? How does growth toward 2nd Tier occur? It is imperative that we as Democrats learn as much as we can about immigration issues so that we can discern the truth from the falsehoods generated to incite fear by the right.
