PMC is made from recycled silver(old photos/xrays) that is mixed with a non-toxic binder and water. It is then fired in a kiln up to 1650 degrees, the binder burns away leaving .999 FINE SILVER (more pure then .925 Sterling). I also do Bronze and Copper clay. Each piece is a very unique "one-of-a-kind" work of art! I have ready made pieces for gifts/personal use(focal for beaders) or to sell in your bead shop or gallery/boutique. <![CDATA[I am working on a project assigned for a mixed-media art class (already!). Our professor's prompt is to simply create a piece of media depicting "Paradigms of Beauty: American Illusions." As you might tell, it's an interpretive project. I thought it would be interesting to create a "classic" pin-up girl ad. As part of the illusion, I would dress up as the pin-up girl - even though I am a dude. You might wonder how this ties into the project. Well, here is the description of my project I turned in to class: "Gender is often argued to be a social construction, with the result being that the term ?woman? may just as easily be applied to a feminine male subject as it is to a female one. This project seeks to highlight how notions of gender are created and normalized. Nowhere is this more prevalent than in pinup imagery, in which the gender performances of the subjects/objects portrayed are exaggerated to produce images of hyper-femininity. Men are towering blocks of muscle, women become overtly sexualized. Does the sultry temptress in the pinup images have to be female? I would argue no." My goal is to shoot 3 photos with 3 separate outfits/settings that depict hyper-femininity. If we can get a male present in the photo to provide contrast, even better. What I need is someone skilled in both makeup & photography to help. I believe we can pull it off, as I am slight of frame (5'8" and 138lbs). I am willing to do what it takes create final product that is edgy and thought-provoking. Since I am a college student, I don't have a lot to offer in $...so I could either give you complete creative control, or pay you what I can ($100).
