JOB DETAILS:
<br>
<br>
Develop heavy truck hoods for new programs following Heavy Trucks system and design release processes.
<br>
<br>
Improve durability and reduce cost on existing heavy truck hoods.
<br>
<br>
Advise designers on hood design, especially composite design including SMC, DCPD, RTM and open-mold FRP.
<br>
<br>
Evaluate and create models in Catia V5. Create drawings in Catia V5 in compliance with ASMS Y14.5M.
<br>
<br>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
<br>
<br>
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
<br>
<br>
Five years of heavy truck or automotive design experience is required
<br>
<br>
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
<br>
<br>
1000 hours of Catia V5 experience is preferred
<br>
<br>
Fluency with DTNA Smaragd and startpart is preferred
<br>
<br>
<br>
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Duration is for 5 months.
<br>
<br>
Work schedule is 40 hours per week.
<br>
