This person claims that they killed their friends cat, I don’t believe that. Their (AllAboutAnimals) story of the cat having a heart problem is probably right. They have a big load and help out the community. ( No other stories about them being bad )They take in ALOT of pets to be fixed on a daily bases. I took my 2 cats and 135 pound dog there and got all of them fixed for $110! All of my animals were fine like every one else’s pets were on the days i went. It would have cost me $200 alone for my dog at a pricy vets not to mention the cats. They are nice people doing a GREAT thing they are not a BOTCH JOB, and they definitely not in it for the money because it cheap. I have never heard of any wrong doings from them, maybe I’m wrong but not likely. They are great and they give a great service for the animals and owners of this community! ]]>

They do, however, work with Paws for Life so that these little guys don't have to be put down. I'm heading to Toledo on Saturday to pick up 2 puppies (under 3 months old) and Rocco who is about 10 months old. The only problem is, we don't have anywhere for any of them to go. Our rescue is full and we are in desperate need of new fosters. If you choose to be a foster, we supply you with alll food and medical needs the dog has. All you are asked is to love them until they find a forever home. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please contact me. There is a possibility of a 4th dog coming back but we don't have information on it yet. Toledo Humane Society temprament tests all of their dogs. They will all be fully vaccinated and spade/neutered before coming to your house. Thank you! Info from the humane society: The first 2 are 3 month old females. They are very sweet. They weight 14 and 19 lbs. The next one is Rocco. He is a 10 month old pitbull mix that was abandoned at a house. He is a SWEETHEART! He is scared around other dogs, but very submissive. He did fine with a cat too. He sniffed it, but that was it. He absolutely LOVES being around people. He is another ambassador of the breed. He is on the smaller side, he only weighs 29 lbs. He passed his behavior test with flying colors. The staff absolutely loves him but unfortunate for all bullies we can not adopt them out of our shelter. They have had a veterinary physical exam, heartworm tested, fecal exam, da2ppl vacccine, bordetella vaccine , rabies, strongid, frontline/topspot, heartworm prevention spayed. ]]>

I was told because of the drains in the kennels - they would get caught up in them or something. It just makes me sad - not only are the poor dogs there in the first place but they have nothing soft to lay on except a cold cement floor. I know some shelters have those little cot things - does anyone know if that is an option and how much they are if we could get some donated or something. Plus I was there one time to donate toys and treats and the dogs aren't allowed to have toys there either because of those drains in the kennels.
