They said they couldn't pay on our truck that was fully insured because they believe the bent frame came from some other accident. When asked what other accident they had any proof of they said none. When asked for proof of another accident involving the truck they said it was just their opinion and that they had no proof. We know for a fact that the damage came from the accident that also totaled my trailer and all the equipment on it. Farmers and 21st Century claims adjusters are liars and dishonest the the highest level, its no wonder because 21st Centruy was part of AIG until it was seperated off after it was found that AIG was involved in the largest insurance fraud ever discovered and had to borrow $180 billion of your tax doolars to be bailed out. Exercise frame of mind Ken Aubuchon knows. Being called "fatso" and "Pugsley" as a kid growing up in Ferndale just drove him deeper into the refrigerator. He topped 200 pounds by junior high. As a father, Aubuchon began following his family's diet of the 1970s and '80s, turning to hot dogs and macaroni and cheese out of convenience. When his stepson, Jacob Cloyd, was teased at school because of the pounds he'd gained, Aubuchon recalled his own experiences: "You can't prescribe a diet to a kid. ... It has to be fun. They have to have an interest in it, and they have to believe they can do it." So the two began working out together and Jacob, now 14, spends his year playing football, baseball and other sports. And 44-year-old Aubuchon, now a fit 173 pounds, has begun his own business -- New Way Yoga and Meditation -- coaching other families about weight and health issues. Jacob says he loves being fit because he is stronger and feels better. "It upset me a lot," he says of the words his peers threw at him. "Ken told me to stop listening to others; he was right." It had stopped for the last 5 mins or so, and as I'm writing this, its BACK! It wouldn't bother me so much if i knew why the hell it was flying around at midnight on a Wednesday. Mostly in downtown areas. →Concerts/plays/venues/fairs….take a bus to just to save, but if you drive – don’t sit in lot before & after with car on listening to radio AND after take your time 1) leaving the site just to get to your car and 2) in lot wait for traffic to clear. Or partying in your car with it on – at least turn it off. → Are you aware there are cars that are now being made when there is a 3 second stop, the engine is designed to shut down, to consume fuel. Why not all cars? And if they’re making cars this way – that are smarter than us; hmmm… what are we doing wrong? What does that tell you? Why haven’t you sent the auto mfr an email telling them? After all they just got bailed out with YOUR money. → Avoid all drive thru’s of any kind…fast food, bank, ATM, pharmacy, even !funeral homes! , etc…park and walk it..consider it exercise, it gets you out of the 4/5/6 deep car idling line. Using the ATM takes about 3-5 minutes- why is your car on? Use the walkup ATM. Waiting on a train? Turn the engine off. Your stuck 5/10 minutes anyway. → Combine all trips is good, combine all trips with neighbors, friends, relatives is better, and look for stores like Home Depot and Wally World that ad match. One stop shopping. When going out for lunch, ask coworkers if they want anything from where your going-eliminates multiple trips. → Keep your car in decent working order, oil change, tires, fluids, etc etc. Don’t buy fuel if you DON’T need it, just because it dropped a cent or two. If it’s dropping, more than likely in 2/3 more days it will be cheaper. And remember consume all you have, gas does gum up. → Don’t mow your lawn if you have grazing animals, let them eat the grass down, and if they go thru your lawn, neighbors?? Keep prospective and look at prices across the country especially if your planning road trips. Report pumps that are incorrect to department of weights and measures. Best way to test a pump, run one gallon, did it read the posted price? Limit teen drivers cruising. If they go every Friday, make it every other Friday. Choose alternate transportation with less or no fuel – especially for short trips. Even make it your goal say IF it’s 4 blocks, you’ll always avoid driving it. And make it a goal to do this once a week for normal driving use. →Is there any value to a toll road? What is it? To go 80-90MPH? –do you need to get there faster? Will 15 minutes make that much difference? ONLY, when you crash on toll road, and then ..to get an EMS to you. →Totally skip the plastic bags at the stores, they are made from oil. Taking about 37 million barrels per year! Use cloth or canvas. If you have no choice reuse them all you can. Recycle. FYI-July 4th weekend, I got told by a Wally World cashier that the goal is by 2012, they are going to be charging for those plastic bags, make the switch now! → Turn overnight parked Semis, cars, and trucks off at truckstop/rest areas. Highway driving – find a semi going slightly faster than you and stay behind 100-200 yards or so—his tailwind sucks you along saving you gas, & he has radar for speed traps. Win win situation. Remember if you can’t see his mirrors – he can’t see you; don’t tailgate. → Rural mail delivery, why not park & walk those 20-40 boxes rather than idle inch by inch? Rental Cars? Turn key off as they inspect for prior damage and show you features. This takes up to 10 minutes, why waste the gas? Why are’nt parking security guards on bikes, golf carts, ATV. They go just as fast thru a lot and places a car cannot and take less fuel? Not to mention cost of vehicle, insurance, plates, and driver. Why do armor trucks idle at pickups? Yet, the delivery companies don’t!!? When was the last time you saw a UPS truck running during a delivery? I never have. I think maybe they have figured out that the idling costs big time money. And there’s the theft issue. Me? I wish it was legal to relocate anyone’s car who does this, just to teach them a lesson. Why do taxis sit idling when waiting on a fare? At hotels in tourist destinations? At airports? Why don’t the cab companies clamp down on this? It’s income out the door! → Did you see the new GM Chevy Volt? 232 MPG! Why aren’t they all being made that way? Why aren’t we demanding it? On all cars? Read up, and learn about CAFÉ standards… do you know cars only have to conform to standards from 1980’s yet our technology has exceeded? Why? Think about that the next time you have a drink. Should I fill up or get few gallons at a time? Before/after I pump my gas, what happens? I estimate I get 10 gallons each year free, just by knowing this! Lighten remove anything unnecessary from your car. →Home, unplug everything, but fridge stove, water heater and plug in as go; use power strips and unplug those also →Buy local .. anything & everything you can meat market, produce, bakery, save fuel bringing things to you. The only people who should not are shut ins. We utilize that ship to me, that it is not a convenience anymore. IT’S killing us at the gas pump. And take a second to read labels, buy American. Best example: White Rain Shampoo/Condition made in USA….VO5 made in Canada …you paid for freight to truck it here, & sent your purchase dollar out of country →….. Treat work vehicle the same, don’t take the approach, I’m not paying for the gas so who cares? Oh but you are. You pay with higher prices at pump, on your electric, AND that’s your next raise your wasting. When waiting on a pace car in construction zones or stopped in zones, turn your car off. They have those flaggers for a reason, why idle? Your not getting thru any faster even if you ram the car in front of you! And then your really not. Construction & OTR trucks that idle, don’t. I watched a dozer cut and load a side dump truck at site. Took over 30 minutes (I know that because that’s how long it took me to walk past) 30 minutes. It ran the whole time?!!!! WHY? And cut warm up times! If you do ½ hour do 15 minutes → Waiting AT the bus stop on kids? Turn the car off. If you do this 5 times (we know it’s 10) times a week for even 2 minutes a pop – you wasted gas for 20 minutes ONE WEEK. Reality is about an hour a week. Don’t take spouse/kids/friends anywhere to drop off like mall, library, grocery, store, etc then sit in the parking lot with car on. And don’t circle the lot, Park. altho email also, it’s faster & always there. I think places that service autos, ie insurance co, dealers, parts warehouse, etc. should keep a copy on their counters. Turn car off when waiting on a funeral procession, rural mail delivery that gets out of car, loading/unloading. →Recognize when you are wasting gas, every person's needs are different. →Forward this to your email contacts, make a bigger impact, use copy and paste. →Keep a copy in your car. And watch when you are doing and others, highlight or check off, look at after three days. Then go OMG! If you check it off-it’s happening elsewhere, you can bet on it. Now you know what to do … forward….and use copy paste, links expire. Make a bigger impact. Or get ready for gas at the $4 mark. Look at ATM’s alone….Today I used one, it took me 92 seconds. (and I a quick just a withdraw) So, let’s use small numbers say there are 13 million cars on the road in the country everyday. Probably at least once a week all will stop at a bank and most use the ATM. But lets say only 20% stop to use the ATM, so that’s 2million 6 hundred thousand…and lets say half of those will use the walk up ATM. So, now were down to 1 million 3 hundred thousand that idled for the 1 ½ minute. 1,3 Million X 1.5 = 19,500,000 / by 60 minutes in a hour = 325,000 hours a day spent idling at the ATM. (And remember this is a low number.) Ok, that’s a really nice house. If you make $20 grand a year, that’s 16 years! If you make $40 grand a year, that’s 8 years! If you make $60 grand a year, that’s 5.4 years! If you make $1000 grand a year, that’s 3 years! It’s worth it to shut it off. ]]>

He has a criminal history of robbing store, his name is Chris Simon he lives on Rockland in Redford, he is known to be hanging out with a young black kid. My sisters seen him, my neighbors seen him, I hear that people are getting thier homes and cars broken into. Few months ago, my mothers purse was stolen out of her car, and he tried using her cards at the ATM, dumba$$ you need a pin number, we have the video of him using the ATM, cant see the face, but can tell by its perspectives. My mother was getting calls that morning about credit card frauds, week later my dads car was raided into, week after that my garage was broken into had taken all of the pop bottle deposits. Then on the weekend of Independance day, my mothers car was stolen right out of the driveway, using a spare key that had been missing for months, we got the vehicle back week later in one peice. I know it has to be him because that is the way he is and always will be, he has robbed me blind while being with him for 3 years. Hydrocephalus is built up fluid on the brain. The fluid is your cerebal spinal fluid. It builds up in the fluid filled spaces of your brain called the ventricles. There is NO cure only treatment. That is my goal," said Clement, a senior human resources generalist with Wide Open West (WOW) in Madison Heights. "I was never much for ice cream, but we'd eat a lot of cake for breakfast at work." Clement, 30, of Royal Oak, laughed loudly. Her goal-setting is part of the program at Dave Krainiak's Oakland County Adventure Boot Camp For Women. Clement meets with a handful of other women for an hour three evenings a week at Lamphere High School in Madison Heights. With up tempo music booming from Krainiak's company vehicle, the women work out in the school parking lot. They stretch. They lift light weights. They do circuit training. They jog and squat. They shuffle from hither to yon and back again. His workouts also include core conditioning, short distance running, jumping rope, hiking, sport yoga, Pilates, and obstacle courses. The women are in constant motion. They work hard, but they actually enjoy themselves. "I visited my cousin in Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend and she was doing a boot camp there. She told me don't do it. She said her instructors were mean, and that it was hell," said Clement, laughing again. "But Dave hasn't been like that at all. He changes our workouts constantly. He pushes us, and I need that. While this is not easy, I feel great that I'm doing it. This program keeps me active. I actually look forward to it," she continued. "I like my job, but it is stressful. I'm a desk jockey. I'll be on the phone and my cell phone will be ringing. I'm writing e-mails, I'm getting e-mails, and I am instant messaging. All the while, there are three people waiting at my door with one in the chair in my office. "I had gastric bypass five years ago," Clement continued. "I walked into the hospital and weighed 330 pounds. I'm not going to tell you how much I weigh today, because I have bounced back a little bit, but overall I had lost 150 pounds." Among the other women in the class at Lamphere is Bernadine Wingate of Center Line. Krainiak's boot camps are held in various locations including Madison Heights, Rochester Hills, Northville and Royal Oak. All are four-week outdoor programs that consist of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. Some start at 5:30 a.m. Others, like the one at Lamphere, are held during the evening. Costs range from $189 to $299. The fitness level of participants varies. Krainiak attended Catholic Central High School in Redford, where he was involved in sports. He's worked as a personal trainer at fitness clubs both in Michigan and elsewhere around the country. "I don't even have to push these women that hard to work out. These women are supremely motivated. They are really fun to work with. It's a good group of people. Most are professional women with careers and families," said Krainiak. Gina Ciaramitaro opted for the early morning sessions. "I'm not a morning person at all, so I almost did not sign up when I first saw what time the classes met," said Ciaramitaro. "It seemed like everyone else thought I was crazy for even thinking about it too. So the more people told me there was no way I could do it, the more it became a challenge and I was determined to push myself to do it to prove everyone wrong." Ciaramitaro, a native of St. Clair Shores, resides in Novi. She is getting married in September. "My initial motivation was my wedding in September, but even more than that, I was just really fed up with feeling lazy and unmotivated. I started to get into the mode of coming home from work every evening and then sitting in front of the TV until I went to bed. "I tried to eat healthier but I was always too tired when I got home to exercise. I had no energy during the day and felt tired all the time. I decided I was getting into such a bad routine that I probably needed some help jump starting me into an exercise regime," she continued. Ciaramitaro graduated from Michigan State University in 2003, and is working for an automotive supplier in the Corporate Controller's Department. Gaining weight is easy. That's probably because grabbing something to eat is even easier. Everywhere a person turns, food beckons. Gas stations offer regular unleaded at $2.75 per gallon and two breakfast sandwiches for two bucks. Vending machines at work entice. Doritos and a Pepsi take the place of a more nutritious lunch. Dinner is served at a drive-thru line and is eaten at 55 miles per hour. Push a shopping cart through Target munching popcorn. Shop at Meijer drinking a Starbucks coffee. Work days slip into work nights. Longer hours on the job become longer semi-comatose stints on the couch. Pam Lent of Northville is back in school to earn her nursing degree. She is a married mother of two. "I've belonged to a gym for years and kept looking for something to supplement my workouts. I knew I wasn't being efficient due to the lack of results. When I saw the ad for the camp, I knew it would be different from anything else I've ever done and I found out that I was right after the first week. "In addition to being more physically fit, Ifeel more mentally fit than I ever have. It's had a domino effect for me; I'm working out hard and actually see the results, so I eat better, sleep better and have a lot more energy. It's a program where I can maintain my fitness goals. I've encouraged my 63-year-old mom to join me and she loves it," said Lent. Catherine Serrin Niekro of Commerce Township is vice president of marketing and communications with the Alumni Association at the University of Michigan. She graduated from U-M in 1994. "I had a baby in July 2008, my second child, and it was just harder and harder to find the time to work out. I knew that doing it in the morning and getting it out of the way was the best for me but I just couldn't always drag myself out of bed early. But I knew that if I had a commitment to be somewhere and others were depending on me that I would do it. "I initially signed up for only three days a week, thinking that five days a week would be too much. I started in January 2009. The classes are an hour and are a lot of fun. I think that as an adult it's very easy to think of exercise as work. For me, boot camp was a great way to make exercise fun again.
