Attention all not for profit Charity Organizations:

Thunderbowl Lanes will be opening a Texas Holdem Card room on October 30, 2008. Charities are wanted. We will have 10 poker tables complete with chairs, waitresses, and dealers.

Under the Michigan gaming law, charities can hold Millionaire Charity nights for 4 days in a row and up to 4 times a year. Total of 16 days per year.

Thunderbowl Lanes will supply the dealers, the cards, the chips, the tables, and the chairs. We will serve the room with food and beverages. The State of Michigan mandates that we give 50% of the profits to your charity.

So for example: Each poker table brings in approximately 60-90$ per hour. We hope to have at least 4 tables running for your charity each and every night. The four tables should gross $1500-$2500 per night. This means your charity will take home between $750-$1250 per night. The only thing that Thunderbowl Lanes would need from your charity is a worker that has been a member of the charity for at least 6 months. Your designated worker will be in charge of handling the money and the chips. "we will provide help to your worker" Your charity can make between $3000 and $5000 for the 4 day event.

Thunderbowl Lanes wants to give the surrounding communities a chance to help their charities by holding these events. Our bowling center has been re-built, our poker room is a state of the art facility.

My name is Michael and I am the designated representative for Thunderbowl Lanes. Plus, I will be there, every step of the way, assisting you and your group to make sure that everything goes off smoothly!

Lastly (and before this starts sounding like a commercial ad or cheesy infomercial!), there is no huge upfront investment required - after all, there is no need to invest a substantial amount of money just to try and raise funds, right?! And the best part, I guarantee that you'll make money off of this, or there is absolutely NO CHARGE TO YOU!

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this and I really hope that you'll take the time to get in touch with me to learn more. However, to be fair to those interested in the program, I can only offer it to one group, per area, per year. So I urge you to get in touch with me as soon as possible.

Thank you and have a great day!

If you can help please contact me at heavensentmeboys13@yahoo.com
Susan
~~~~
If you have lost a baby to SIDS also feel free to contact me. We have a support group. ~~~
Thank you for your time. Bellow is the letter I pass out... Dear Friend, I am writing to you today to tell you my story. On April 18, 2005, a beautiful baby boy named Evan Michael came into the world. Shortly after his birth and meeting his parents for the first time, he rolled over to his side on his own, got comfy and promptly fell asleep. Evan was a strong, happy and healthy boy. A joy to his parents and his older brother, Alex. On the morning of May 28, 2005, Evan’s mother put him back to sleep after a midnight cry at 4:30 a.m. At 9:00 that same morning, Evan’s mother awoke to find him cold and blue. The paramedics, doctors and nurses did everything they could but they couldn’t bring Evan back. On June 2, 2005, after forty very short days on Earth, Evan was buried in a special part of Resurrection Cemetery called Baby Land. Evan was our son and we lost him to SIDS. Since Evan’s death, 23 other babies have been laid to rest in Baby Land because people do not know the risks in laying their children to sleep at night. There are a lot of people who do not know what SIDS or think that it doesn’t happen in these modern times. Getting people to learn about SIDS has become our mission. We raise money throughout the year and in September we have a SIDS Memory Walk and present checks in our children’s names. We also have a silent auction to raise money for the items that have been donated to us over the last year at our Bowling Fudraiser in May. That is why I am asking for your help. Someone of your stature could help in so many ways by donating items to auction, donating items for goodie bags. Donating your returnable cans, used or broken cell phones, used purses, gift certificates, writing letters or even making personal appearances. If you are willing and able to help us please contact us and we will pick anything us you are willing to donate
:E-mail at
~~~~ heavensentmboys13@yahoo.com~~~ Thank you so much for your time. We need to have enough non perishables on hand so that no family is turned away.
