Duties would include initial client visits and assessments, CNA supervision, and related license and company functions. Actual hours of work are flexible and extensive use of email, texting and Internet make it an even more flexible circumstance. You would join a staff consisting of an Office Manager, Administrator, Marketing Director and a super group of hand selected CNAs. Hours range from 1 to 20 per week. Compensation can be designed to suite both parties but at this time it is hourly. This is a VERY Client centered company. We deliver a personal service in a competitive environment. Communicate with patients/families at all levels. Relate well to patients/families, responding to verbal and nonverbal communication. Provide appropriate support at time of death and period of bereavement. Communicate with all agency personnel. Communicate with a direct, positive and timely manner. Coordinate service to optimize patient care. Attend and participate in IDT meetings and quality review as scheduled by agency. Requirements: Current RN licensure in state of practice, successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing with two years of clinical nursing experience and at least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred Knowledge of the framework, function, and organization of a home health and hospice care program and the nurse’s role as a member of the patient care team.
