General Summary:
<br>
Located in the manufacturing department and reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing, the primary function of this position is to provide the technical skills necessary to complete the manufacturing and final assembly on new and refurbished Inovoject® Systems/new related devices.
<br>
<br>
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
<br>
• Provides engineering support for planning, construction, operation and maintenance of buildings and utilities, developing and implementing programmatic methods to ensure safe operation and high equipment reliability/availability, under routine supervision from the Engineering Manager. Serves as electrical design engineer which may involve some project management. Provides electrical engineering for multiple projects simultaneously.
<br>
• Work from wiring, electrical, and mechanical diagrams, equipment drawings, and verified instruction sets to organize, construct, build, and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems used on the Inovoject® System and other devices during the final assembly process.
<br>
• Must be capable of troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical and pneumatic devices used on the Inovoject® system when problems are encountered.
<br>
• Acquire a good understanding of the Inovoject system to improve efficiencies in completing the final assembly process and quality output to the field.
<br>
• Assist with the preparation of detailed records to document the build process and organize/maintain a system for filing and updating these records efficiently.
<br>
• Assist with parts rebuild when necessary.
<br>
• Learn techniques for assembling new technologies and prototypes from engineering, (i.e., the Vaccine Saver and Egg Remover).
<br>
• Maintain personal tool and shop floor hardware inventory.
<br>
• Maintain an organized a clean shop floor work space and work with Manager, Manufacturing to find areas for improvement in work flow or final assembly procedures to reduce either build time and/or costs.
<br>

Job Specifications:
<br>
• 2 year degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
<br>
• 1-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
<br>
<br>
Working Conditions: Usual manufacturing floor conditions. Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
<br>

Under general supervision, monitors, operates and maintains hardware, software, and networks for a computing platform.
<br>
Configures, assembles and installs microcomputers, workstations and/or peripheral equipment.
<br>
Performs first line support for service interruptions such as printer routings, power outages, wiring problems, and malfunctioning servers.
<br>
Escalates unresolved problems to expedite resolution.
<br>
Maintains disaster recovery procedures for LAN and related equipment/software.

Upgrades, modifies and replaces hardware, software and network components. Performs system backup and recovery activities.

Creates and maintains user login identification (user ID) information and login scripts.
<br>
