Let's see if this works. I am a dedicated musician. I play piano/keyboard and guitar. Piano for 27+ years by ear. Guitar for about 3. I have a violin and want to learn how to play. But let's not say that I play violin for now. hahaha What genre/style do I play? Not sure. I just feel good when I play. I must admit I don't have a rocker in me but love rock music too. My modern influences are Jason Mraz, Marc Broussard, John Legend, G. Love and Special Sauce, Craig David, Jonny Lang to name a few. I am not looking to form a band or become a part of a band that exists already. Just want to jam. I've been in town for about 4 months now and I need inspiration. <![CDATA[In the summer of '98, central Indiana was exposed to a unique sonic experience. Sounding like they hailed from the Texas rock scene, Stones Crye exploded all over central Indiana. The intense schedule lead to the exhaustion that plagues many bands and eventually the guys decided to take a break. That break lasted 10 years. But, missing the unique musical chemistry they enjoyed, 3 of the 4 original members decided to see what might happen if they got together again. Today we are moving forward. Having begun the reformation process, one of many steps in the journey lies in completing our roster with a bassist. The successful candidate will be a unique individual possessing these qualities: a heart for God and Christ and ministry; a level of maturity in faith and humanity; a degree of dry wit and insanity; an appreciation if not down right love for the stylings of the Galactic Cowboys, King’s X, Atomic Opera, et al; a penchant for playing notes below the standard low E on your instrument; lastly, a natural understanding and feel for the music that is Stones Crye.
