<![CDATA[Hi everyone! My name is Erick Heath and I have 2 wonderful boys, Nathan (12), and Jacob (9) and they are the world to me! They are honor role students in school and I am the proudest father in the world and I'm very blessed to have such wonderful well mannered boys, and though I have no money or a lot of luxuries, I am very thankful for what I do have. I live in a small apt., and work 50 hrs a week and I don't have the time I would like to have with my children. I have 4 credit cards that are maxed out and ALL of my bills are a month behind! I barely have enough money to keep some cereal in the cabinet, and some sandwhich meat in the refridgerator for my boys. I normally take a can of sweet peas, which I love by the way, and a pack of nabs to work for lunch. I work in construction full time and I do carpentry work on the side. As everyone knows the economy isn't in the best shape and with the elections coming up, who knows what the future will hold for a lot of us. I worried and stressed over how I will be able to take care of my children and give them a healthy and abundant life. So I started wandering what can I do to get out of this situation I'm in. Well 1st I have changed my way of thinking and instead of feeling sorry for myself and complaining I started keeping a good attitude and started thinking positive. To make a long story short,I was online one day and I stumbled accross this website of how you can change your financial situation and be successful in as little as 30 days. So I checked it out, I figured if this is true, My children and I will be set! Low and behold, I went through the process and followed the instructions and joined in with this company. <![CDATA[Today I formed a new Non-profit organization, Hoosiers for an Oil Free Future, Co. Our mission: to help individuals break the stranglehold that fossil fuels have on us. Obviously this is a huge undertaking and I need help. In the coming months, I will be looking to the citizens of Indiana to give me your trash. That's right, I said trash! I need your recyclables. Plastic, paper, soda cans, etc. We will be travelling around collecting your trash. We will use your trash to generate funding that will allow us to help people become less dependant on fossil fuels. While we would love to have the funds to install solar panels and buy everyone a hybrid car we wouldn't affect many lives that way. We'll start small. We'll help low income individuals by removing their natural gas appliances and replacing them with high-efficiency electrics. We'll replace old windows with higher efficiency models. We'll help people pay for vehicle maintenance that will increase fuel efficiency. We'll do these things and more. We'll build a foundation of citizenry and we'll make our voices heard. We'll push our legislators to stop dragging their feet and make global climate issues a top priority. But we can't do it without you. We will need volunteers to help collect the recyclables.
