We have over 30 food plots with most having houses on them. We have 18 mineral sites. There are NO Reserved stands. First come basis. We have over two miles of a big creek bottom, littered with oaks and drainage heads. Most of club is planted pines, with recently thinned and a few recent clearcut stands. We have antler restrictions and manage our doe herd closely. We have a camp with no water or electricity. Generators welcome. Memberships will be held at 30. If not, then this is your chance to engage in a discussion where we share our passion of characters, storylines and author of the book we read. Every week, we introduce fresh, suspenseful and magnificent topics that enable us to discuss, debate, compare and contrast, and voice our opinions from the book. Furthermore, you'll meet new people, expand social circles, share laughs and drinks, and enjoys each other's company. I am certain that most of us want to make an excuse to get out of home and read more books and pass out the time as oppose to getting bored and do nothing. Why getting bored when you can come to our favorite cafe sites like Starbucks or Panera Bread within Southside and entertain us by disclosing what you read from the book? Have you ever read 25 total books per fiscal year since high school? Some of you do or don't but hey, that's in the past and I believe we can do so again by asking you to join us. Think of this as a great healthy activity, a way of entertainment and overwhelm ourselves with the knowledge of words and insight by reading books. We all need a good reason to read books right? I understand that most of us have busy lifestyles but think about the time when we can set aside to actually do something we really enjoy besides going shopping or travel in distant places you've never been to and have fun with your favorite people. Research shows that engaging in a social discussion like a book club enables you to communicate (especially with English majors) effectively in oral and written modes. If you are willingly engage in it, it can provide something deep and meaningful academic-like experience. It also renders an idea into a new, cool, resonant form to powerfully connected with us. If you don't believe me, why not simply try and participate with us? I am a 23 year old male, college student and professional living in Southside area. I am very easy to get along with, open-doors, down to earth, optimistic person and spent most of my time in outdoor activities but I'd like to meet and have a small, intellectual and dynamic group of people who are avid or beginning book readers. There are others who are within my age range read books in their own pace. I read books on some weeknights or weekends but it would be great to have a group of people who likes to read along, offer and value each other's viewpoints, opinions, criticisms and vice versa. I don't know what any other activity to universally bring people together to make friends, have open and fair discussions, expand our social networking circles and enjoy each other's company while reading and disclose about books, but it's a great way to get out more from home and engage in social related activities would you agree? We meet at either Starbucks or Panera Bread either once or twice a week on every once or twice on weeknights, if not weekends. Everyone is welcome whether you're a highschool or college student or professional and regardless of age and/or ethnic background. This is an opportunity to engage in a very depth, open, and intellectual method of having a great discussion. There are no limits or conditions on what you can do and/or bring to the book club.
