The position reports to the Senior Director. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: <br> <br> Recruiter Duties: <br> <br> • Create and maintain a pipeline of talent throughout the organization <br> • Maintain open position reports and facilitate the new hire/replacement requisition approval process in partnership with business leaders <br> • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with our department heads and hiring managers <br> • Ensure pre-employment screening, reference check process and preparation of offer letters <br> • Manage the internal and external job posting process <br> • Screen and interview candidates; coordinate the interviewing schedule as necessary <br> • Develop and manage key staffing and recruiting metrics (e.g. cost per hire, time to hire, etc), reporting and analysis <br> <br> Generalist Duties: <br> <br> • Act as a business partner and advisor for all HR requirement, including benefits, compensation, professional development, and employee relations. <br> • Facilitate issue resolution between employees and managers, as required; understand and provide advice and consult on employment law matters <br> • Ensure onboarding of all new hires and new managers <br> • Support and facilitate the implementation of standardized approach to policies, guideline and processes. <br> • Work closing with managers to ensure effective management of performance including appraisals, exit interview, assessment and development. <br> <br> <br> Experience/Knowledge Required: <br> Bachelor’s degree and 4 years in recruiting/generalist function, preferably in a publishing or media company required. Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and priorities are essential. Experience in a fast pace, entrepreneurial online environment would be a plus.
