<![CDATA[Just went to Desert Valley Pediatrics today Met with my doc, he says that all 5 of their pediatricians have seen hundreds of cases of Rotavirus and Enterovirus, etc. - Literally about a THOUSAND for one practice! If it gets bad enough, your kids will have to be admitted for dehydration. Please make sure what your kid drools on gets sanitized before and immediately after touching it, wash your and your baby's hands after diaper changes and before meals, and keep your kids out of group care environments as often as possible. I just took my baby to the child care at the gym and now she is sick! She stays home with me every day, hardly around a bunch of children ever. Just a heads up to those workin' mommies and care providers out there. Oh, and Lysol disinfecting spray (not the scented stuff) does kill Rotavirus. Spray it on, leave it for 10 minutes, wipe clean. ONLY rinse the Lysol off if the object comes in contact with food or your baby's mouth. Rotavirus causes vomiting, diarrhea - my doc said creamed broccoli type stools sounded like Rota, just wash those hands, people!]]>
