<![CDATA[I am starting a group for Catholic fathers like me who work in Downtown Louisville. I feel it is important that we, as men, gather together in groups to support each other and worship God. I have no outcome in mind right now other that simply being a catalyst for this effort. I have established a blog for the group at louisvilledadsdowntown@blogspot.com What I plan to do is start this group by attending Mass every Friday moring at the 7:45 A.M. service held at the Cathedral of the Assumption on Fifth Street. My idea is that whomever would like to join me, simply meet me there and we'll attend Mass together. I will be there every Friday, schedule allowing. I will dress wearing a red shirt. You can either meet me there or contact me ahead of time and let me know you are coming. Hopefully, we can grow a group of fathers to meet on a regular basis and develop some fellowship and supporting relationships. My vision is a group that meets to Worship, Support, and Proclaim. Worship of God will always be our first focus in everything we do as a group. Support of each other will always be available. Proclaim the Word of God to whomever would like to listen is a duty we all have. I am humbly entering into this with no idea what I am really doing - no experience at this sort of thing!
