<![CDATA[Two really cute, very sweet, cats free to a good home. They’ve been together their entire lives so they must go together as a pair. They’re 5 years old. The grey one is a girl and the orange one is a boy. She weighs a little over six pounds and he weighs 10. She is front declawed, he is not because he’s a very laid back cat and will let you clip his nails. They’re both litter box trained. She is friendly and will come around especially in the morning or when you get home from work for some attention. He is very skittish around newcomers, but once he gets to know you he wants to be in your lap being petted ALL of the time. They don’t hiss, are not territorial, and usually just disappear and hide when new guests come around so that isn’t a problem. They are best friends though, and in the evenings will chase each other around and play for lots of good exercise. They’ve never been outside, because I’ve never lived in an area where there wasn’t a busy road and I was worried about the female being declawed. They eat dry food from a continuous dispenser so they’re easy if you go out of town for a few days. I’ve had dogs in my house for a few hours here or there if a friend came over with their pet but that’s it. The cats just hid the whole time. Not sure how they would do living with a dog. I am a border collie mix puppy meaning that I look just like a border collie except I am taller and have a shorter coat, my foster mom thinks I am about 11-12 weeks old now as I still have my puppy teeth. I was in very bad shape when I was found but now I'm great and ready for a new home. The only issue is I really need a job, you see I have a very,very high ball drive, meaning that I love to chase any type of ball for just as long as you will throw it, I even chased a beach ball into my foster moms pool. I am well rounded and get along just fine with other dogs and cats. I love people and would be best suited for someone that would take the time to teach me things, my foster mom thinks I would make a great K-9 companion or assist dog because I have the border collie attentiveness and willingness to learn and I get bored if I don't have something to do. They have a carrier large enough for both of them, two litter boxes, food dishes and a large bin to hold food. They are on a special diet - Prescription Diet Feline Z/D dry food and NO treats. They are incredibly loving and playful. They love to spend time on the couch with you too. I have to find them a new home because of my job. I am a geologist which means I am always out of town. I was recently transferred to New Mexico and will be unable to leave them alone for up to three weeks a month, and give them the attention they deserve. I have taken on a job where I am travelling full time so unfortunately I no longer have time for her. I would like for her to go to a good home. She is laid back and is not a very playful dog honestly she is low maintenance. Loves to cuddle thats for sure! She loves to lay out in the sun and be outside but prefers to stay indoors. Cocoa is not fixed and when she goes in heat (rarely) it is light. She like to play with other dogs but it takes her a few minutes to get used to them after that shes great. I do not have kids but she has been around my niece several times and has never jumped or snapped at her. My niece will pick her up and drive her nuts and she will just sit there and take the torcher. Also she looks different than any dog I have ever seen. <![CDATA[This breed of which I own 2 myself... was breed for herding cattle and sheep in the mountains... that's the reason for the extra declaw... look it up on google.... they are work dogs... although this isn't the mountain days and we live on a nice large piece of property but without a farm... our dogs are very loved family pets.. they are gentle and loving... they are always very aware of their size and can be very protective... I wouldn't recommend any other breed my self for a family dog especially a home with kids.. these dogs are the best...]]>

<![CDATA[UPDATE: Pictures. I've gotten so much great advice and I think I know what direction I want to take now, but I want to make sure he's not anyone's long-lost pet. He's so friendly. I know he's belonged to someone before, although he's not neutered yet, BOO! Please let me know if he looks familiar and if so, how long and from where he was missing. I'm not returning him to anyone who might have had a hand in getting him to the shape he's in now!!! The pictures attached are him patiently awaiting another feeding (he's already put on weight I think!), and him & my girl desperately trying to become a couple (through the glass lovin'!). This poor, pathetic emaciated stray cat showed up at our front door 3 days ago begging for food. I have been feeding it some of my cat's food 2-3 times a day and thought it was going to take my hand off the first day and a half because he was so hungry. He's still a bit jumpy but very friendly (especially with a full belly). He's been sleeping on our front porch now and I feel awful for him, but I can't bring him in because I have a beautiful, healthy cat of my own and I'm not sure what he could be carrying. Besides the weight, I'm extremely concerned about a place on his back that was gross and oozing. I cleaned him up and put some antibiotic ointment on him but I do not have the funds to take him to a vet or anything. I seem to be the only neighbor trying to take care of him, which I don't mind, but we are moving in the next week and I don't know what to do about him. My kids are hoping I'll take him with us, but again, I do not have the extra money to take him to the vet for shots, neuter, tests, treatment for possible infection, etc. We are afraid if we call animal control, he'll surely be put down. He is a very sweet, grey tabby. I have no idea where he could have came from but I'm guessing he's either been on his own for some time or someone was abusive and neglectful. If anyone has any creative ideas or suggestions, please help me! I cannot leave him without knowing he'll be okay! ]]>

<![CDATA[I am not trying to be a smart alleck by any means but i noticed you put in your add he is bred for herding. Great Pyrenees are not bred for herding they are "livestock guardians". I have 2 of them and they are great dogs just to let everyone know...i will never live another day of my life not owning one of this breed. They are very good family dogs, not aggressive at all, and yes they will protect your house, mine are only really protective of my farm at night when we are asleep. So someone def needs to adopt this dog, especially if they have kids. My daughter used to ride on my big males back when she was little. The males will advance to around 175- 200#. <![CDATA[No one has ever really loved me. I'm dirty and thin, and I have scars under my eyes from some past skin problem that was never treated by a vet. When I got lost, my family never bothered to look for me. Now I'm in the animal shelter and I'm so very frightened. I sit in the corner, shivering. Most people just walk past my kennel without giving me a second look. Some ladies from the Humane Society took me outside today so I could get my picture taken. They were very nice to me, and even got me to wag my tail. I leaned against them for comfort, but then they had to leave. They said that they hoped someone would give me a chance because I'm very sweet and gentle. I just need someone to be kind to me, and most of all, I need to be loved. UPDATE!! I am in a foster home now and am doing GREAT! I haven't had a single accident in the house! :) I get along great with the other dogs in the house and am very gentle. I am certainly not selling my dog; I am merely trying to find her a new home, so I know it's not that. The rehoming fee is delineated and can be backed up by tangible receipts, so I know it's not that, either. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!** We are looking for a new home for our 3 1/2 year old, absolutely gorgeous mix named Berkeley. People at the dog parks, etc. ALWAYS stop us and tell us how stunning she is and that she should be on tv! She weighs approximately 75 pounds, is completely housebroken and has been spayed. She loves riding in the car, walking around the track at the various parks and running around at the dog park (she won't swim though). She was professionally trained, though admittedly, she could use a refresher as she tends to pull on her leash. She is not destructive at all and likes to be lazy on the couch during the day. She is very affectionate and loving and would be a good guard dog as she barks when unfamiliar people come to the door. She has lived with another large dog for her whole life, which is the reason why we are trying to find her a new home. Our other dog has congenital orthopedic problems (recently had his second surgery) and will need future surgeries. He needs to be kept calm and he tends to get wild when playing with Berkeley. We know we won't be able to give Berkeley the attention she deserves so we want to find her a new home. We would like to find her a good home where she will be an INDOOR family pet, i.e. NO HUNTING, FIGHTING, ETC. She has not been around children much, but has always been sweet when children ask to pet her at Petsmart. My brother has a tiny dog and he used to bring her over, but Berkeley would chase her like prey. So, we don't think she should be in a household with a tiny dog. We are asking a rehoming fee of $100, which covers the cost of her last vet exam including the examination/office visit fee, her annual bordetella vaccine, canine influenza series, annual heartworm test and fecal exam. Chloe is still at the rambunctious phase where anything and everything instantaneously transforms into a toy. Both had lived their entire lives outdoors and due to that fact they DO NOT like dogs and Chloe(momma) does not like other cats. Chloe is more adaptable to other felines, and over time and with supervision Chloe will become more accepting as well. They've had a very difficult life and deserve nothing but the best. I'd keep them, but unfortunately, I already have 2 cats and a dog of my own. Both are going to need to be taken for checkups, shots, etc. I gave them a round of deworming, but they'll probably need another. They've been staying in my basement with frequent and constant access to the rest of my home. They are only to be rehomed together. The separation would be too great on them and they would probably "act out" in response to their sadness and unhappiness.
