We also have a playroom upstairs, with a toy box full of stuffed animals, more books, a rocking horse, music, blocks, and other various toys. We have a large selection of Dora, Diego, and Elmo movies. We have a fenced yard, with a little tyke play house and a small slide. Our house is baby/child proofed, and we even have a toddler hand rail installed on the stairs. We have a gate at the top of the stairs, as well as the bottom. We have a cot and nap mats for nap time. We do have a small 7 pound dog named Jake. He is a yorkie-poo, and is the sweetest dog in the world. He gets along great with our daughter and all her little friends. He loves to make new friends too! Our home is smoke free. We are also a hit and spank-free home. I am planning on our home being more like a preschool than a daycare. We are actively learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, and even alittle spanish. We do alot of reading and art, as well as playing outside. I need someone that can be there some mornings to help me prepare them for school, although I have that covered myself most of the time. I mainly need some one that can pick them up from daycare at 5:30 PM and be with them until either 8 Pm or some times even till 1 AM.
