I knew her and talked to her often for the last two years. I don't believe she would kill herself as the media is trying to convince us. No fingerprints were searched for on the shed other than hers or her mother's. They deemed it suicide without the autopsy or even the toxicology report in yet. Her so called suicide note was a will because she knew her life was in danger. It wasn't even dated the same date as her death. I would like to hire a private investigator - and put some pressure on the local authorities to properly investigate this so the men who had everything to gain by her death can be brought into the light. Jeanne gave her life to expose corruption and hypocrisy at the highest levels of our goverment - she deserves to have this work carry on. But I lack the personal funds to do this. Please consider donations in her name at paypal to tapsnevada@yahoo.com - mark them Jeanne and I will put this donation towards having a full investigation done by an outside agent and following up with flying down there to put pressure on the authorities to also properly investigate this. Her mother, Blance, is 76 and alone and too scared to do anything other than agree it's a suicide so the same doesn't happen to her. I'd also like to have someone keep a protective eye on her while we do this. If you have any other questions or would like to talk about this - please email me. I'm going to keep my name "anonymous" because three days after I started emailing police, the coroner, the DA, and the local media - I had five police and a drug dog show up at my home with a bogus search warrant. They entered and tried everything they could to find something in my home to arrest me on. When that failed and they had to leave without me in handcuffs four hours later - they then called my landlord and told him I had "trashed" my home and I should be evicted. My landlord came over the next day to see I had not trashed my home - and told me about the call from the cops. I doubt this kind of thing would have been targeted to me - unless this was more than a mere suicide. Madams as a pattern don't commit suicide either. Instead they come out of jail on to other enterprises - along with a nice movie and book deal.

I am currently a medical student at UM and will be volunteering with Unite For Sight, an organization devoted to curing blindness worldwide. About 80% of blindness in the world is curable, often all it takes is a short surgery. During 2006 and 2007, Unite For Sight performed over 10,000 sight restoring surgeries. However, millions of people in developing countries don't have access to the appropriate medical care and live without their sight as a result. This June, I will work with a partner eye clinic to screen for eye disease, implement education programs, and coordinate sight-restoring surgery for children and adults.

The goal of Unite For Sight and its partner eye clinics and communities is to create eye disease-free communities. Unite For Sight's volunteers work with partner eye clinics to provide eye care in communities without previous access. The eye clinic's eye doctors and Unite For Sight volunteers jointly provide community-based screening programs in rural villages. The clinic's eye doctors diagnose and treat eye disease in the field, and patients are brought to the eye clinic for surgery. Patients receive free surgery funded by Unite For Sight; no patient remains blind due to economic hardship.

To be able to participate, I must raise $1400, and I'm hoping maybe you can help, I still need to raise about 600 more dollars. If you would like to contribute, 100% of your donation will provide sight-restoring eye care to people who are living in extreme poverty. No part of this money will go to bureaucrats (or me, for that matter - the money funds surgery related expenses, I pay for my own trip). It is also fully tax-deductible. Your contribution to Unite For Sight will have a tremendous impact on the lives of many children and adults if you choose to donate.

If you would like to donate, I have included the instructions on the bottom of this page. I've also included my email address, feel free to contact me.

I would be very grateful for your support and contributions if you choose to donate. This is why it is very important to educate the children in environmental protection awareness and valorization of their local culture, history and roots. It is very important to create awareness that there is only one planet and to promote values such as flexibility, understanding other cultures, tolerance and team work. This project is organized with the aim to promote voluntary service activities among the children and adults through sports and cultural exchanges. A group of international volunteers is invited to help in the organization of sport events and also to participate in social activities to support the local native people of the Yucatan Peninsula.
Date: May 1, 2008 Media Contact: Creativas Group
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

IFB INVESTS IN RESTORING JOY TO THE LIVES OF FOSTER KIDS

Company President and Employees set aside day to create safe, fun environment for His House Children’s Home

Miami, Florida (May 1, 2008) – On Friday April 25th, International Finance Bank (IFB) president and employees took a break from their daily norm. They turned away their focus from financial portfolios to construct something equally as important: a home for children. The company chose April 25th as the day to volunteer at His House Children’s Home (HHCH), a nonprofit, faith-based social services agency for abused, neglected or drug-exposed children. The IFB group furnished and decorated a cottage that will now house 12 at-risk boys who call HHCH home. Relying on the support of volunteers, fosters, event and corporate sponsors, HHCH provides residences, education and security for more than 250 at-risk children in the Miami-Broward region through on-site cottages and a wide network of fosters and house parents.

IFB employees collectively showed dedication as they repaired and refurnished a cottage by assembling and arranging furniture (courtesy of City Furniture), decorating and accessorizing walls and floor, and landscaping the outside area to create a fun, comfortable, safe home setting for 12 boys and 2 house parents. The company also covered expenses for the renovation, purchasing everything from household appliances and sheets, to wall hangings and pillows.

Nelson V. Alvarado, President/CEO states “The best way to invest in our community is to start with our children; the future of our society. At IFB, we take this commitment very seriously and our team is proud to have been part of this amazing event, participate and make a difference.” IFB’s top executives and board also played an active role in this exciting effort. Led by Mr. Alvarado, the entire team all led by example in “building a future” by being the first ones to commence the project Friday April 25th, 2008. Although the hot Miami sun was beaming, no one complained as the emotion and goodwill kept the group in wonderful spirits seeing their efforts quickly materialize into a “home.”

About International Finance Bank (IFB):
International Finance Bank (IFB) is a Florida State Chartered FDIC insured Commercial Bank owned by Grupo IF, a privately-held family enterprise that has been conducting business in North and South America for over 50 years. IFB was organized in Miami in 1982 by a group of local businessmen with a vision to meet or exceed the financial needs and expectations of customers, employees, shareholders, and supervisory agencies by creating an effective, efficient and profitable organization. Formerly named the Westchester Bank, IFB has been providing community banking services to the South Florida region for over 20 years.

About His House Children’s Home:
Established by Jean Caceres-Gonzalez in 1989, His House Children’s Home (HHCH) is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that provides residential care, case-management, foster and adoption placement for children ranging from newborn to 18 years of age who have been abused, neglected, drug exposed or whose parents are in severe crisis. HHCH is licensed by the Department of Children and Families and contracted by Our Kids and Child-Net, Inc. as a residential program and child placement agency. The organization’s mission is to provide children with love, support, education and safety in the comfort of a secure, “camp-like” atmosphere. The area is an agricultural settlement and the region grows paddy, coconuts, arecanuts, black pepper, vanilla, exotic varieties of mangoes, exotic varieties of bananas and the famous tasty cashew nuts. Over a period of time the region has been facing a lot of water shortage and the region now is facing a receding agriculture practice as a result of the shortage of water.

Year 2003 was the beginning of an initiative to implement rainwater harvesting awareness programmes in the form of trying to set up a rainwater harvesting model in the region. Several volunteer projects were organized with the rainwater harvesting theme, and almost successfully completed such model in one of the villages of Moodabidri. Volunteers who participated in the workcamp dug hundreds of trenches to stand the water so that it percolates into the soil and increases the water table of the surrounding area/region.

International volunteer groups this year will continue the same project, along with the idea of having awareness programmes in schools in the region.
