<![CDATA[My neighbor found these two in tact male beagle dogs. One has a blue collar and the other has a red collar. They appear healthy and happy but were weaving in and out of a very busy street. We have them in a kennel right now, but dont want to bring in their fleas and ticks with them. They have no tags on their collars. Please respond asap, the apartments will not let us keep them kenneled outside for very long, and I dont know what we are going to do with them if we havnt found their owner by tonight. These dogs have been taken to rutherford county paws and are no longer in my, or my neighbor's posesion. We tried to hold them as long as possible but they kept trying to mount my (spayed)female dog (who was not impressed with that) and marking in my house, these boys were LEAKING and obviously ready to mate. These two were being extremely aggressive with eachother and got to the point where we couldnt keep them kenneled together. I treated both dogs with advantix yesterday so should their owners read this, your welcome. They are at paws, you can go reclaim them. They have to hold them three days to give the owners time to claim them. However after three days they will be up for adoption and are sweet boys who deserve loving homes. <![CDATA[I found a rust (tan or brown) colored female dog in my driveway this evening (09/01/10) around 6:45 pm with no collar or tags on. She is a very sweet and healthy, medium size dog. She has black on her face and ears, and some white on her chest and paws. We think her to be a boxer mix and around 1-2 yrs old? She is REALLY friendly and likes to lick everyone upon meeting them, not very skittish, doesn't seem to be abused or neglected. I don't think she is a stray, just got out of a fence or something. She is afraid of our cats and seems to think she can lay on our bed or couch whenever she pleases, so I think she is an inside dog. We live on Burchwood Ave, which is near Gallatin Rd/Trinity Lane and near McDonalds. Back on either Friday or Saturday (28th or 29th) a lady had called us reporting missing her dog. She explained she had two dogs, one came home one didn't. The scary part was the dog that came home had the other dog's severed foot in its mouth. Which she said looked to have been cut off by a leg trap. They are a rare type of eye glass that on one lense has what might be thought as a small binocular. Below is a picture of a pair of bioptic glasses. They have been hanging around my deck for a couple of weeks now. Mama cat has been coming around to visit for months, off and on; and until recently always appeared healthy and well-cared for. I always just assumed she lived nearby, but now she's here all the time, so I suspect she has lost her way. I sure hope we can get them home.
