In this city alone, there are many children and districts who are waiting for instruments, papers, paints, etc., so that they can provide art or music class even once a week, for a handful of children, and this often occurs after school hours through the support of volunteers and donations. We hope you will agree that as artists within the community, we have a collective responsibility to help support, and pave the way for today's creative youth. This project will combine real-time footage, as well as using traditional and contemporary stop motion techniques resulting in an alternatively surreal depiction of the subject matter. The focus of this study is to increase the public awareness of some of the many rapidly changing developments in home-made fuel resources, homeopathic health practices and procedures, and general opinions on the state of affairs and things to come. Presently the topic forum is in its developmental stages, but the rough guidelines for the material to be released must stick to the parameters of self reliance and self expression in regards to rural and metropolitan culture. The study will be carried out and the film will be produced and uploaded on a weekly basis from a mobile traveling studio/workshop. This is a retrofitted diesel delivery truck tour vehicle in its final stages of Vegetable oil and Hydrogen fuel conversion. Footage and soundtrack will be recorded, edited, and distribution of the materials will be carried out via satellite connections to the internet. The goal is simple and fun and it involves everybody sharing information, skills, and experiences together. Unless somebody comes up with a better plan, that seems to be the greatest investment for the future. We are in immediate need of financial backing for this project. The merchants are being spearheaded by Gail Meyers, Tom Eggleston, and others to get creative and bring more "buyers" to the area! Lots of ideas were thrown into the hat - lots of enthusiasm and phenomenal potential! In the meantime there are at least 3 different places that have responded to my proposal of "scratching one another's backs!" Max and Inez of "Second Debut", along with "Inspirations - books and gifts" - on the corner of Palmarie Avenue and 59th are donating the front lawns of their businesses to Santa Maria Artists Group (www.SantaMariaArtistsGroup.com) for no fees other than 10% of any sales to the Veterans! (Their favorite charity.) They are willing to let us use their lawns whenever we want -- so, with that in mind, if anyone wants to participate, let me know ASAP.
