QA Manager - Drive QA to the Highest Echelon with Initiate Systems!

The Quality Assurance Manager who's led a QA organization for companies that sell and deliver software to paying customers has an excellent opportunity to "spend" all that bankrolled experience and re-invent the Quality function within Initiate Systems. In this highly autonomous role, working out of our Phoenix, AZ, office and managing 10 direct reports in Austin and Phoenix, you'll have the latitude to put your personal imprint on our QA organization. You'll be challenged to get QA on equal footing with Development and Documentation within our overall Agile development methodology and drive our heavy push toward more automated testing.

Initiate Systems develops "master data management" (MDM) software, which allows companies to improve the visibility across databases and systems (even beyond firewalls). Initiate software enables organizations to strategically leverage and share critical data assets. Our master data management (MDM) software and experience as an information exchange leader provide organizations with complete, accurate and real-time views of data spread across multiple systems or databases, even outside the firewall. Initiate has been on a stellar revenue and personnel growth ramp. Established in 1995 as Madison Information Technologies and later named Initiate Systems, Inc. in 2003 we have nearly 300 employees and have deployed our solution to over 100 enterprise customers across a number of different industries, including health care, government, banking, insurance and retail. With proven growth in years past, Initiate Systems now looks to its team of professionals to forge the way in a market expected to go from $1.1 billion in 2006 to $6.6 billion by 2010 according to Forrester Research.

As our Phoenix-based QA Manager, you'll embark on a department wide rejuvenation of our entire Quality Assurance function. The successful candidate will have experience with enterprise software delivery to paying customers, not necessarily working as a consultant or with an internal IT department whose "product" was an internal release. We'll look to your expertise in bringing more quality and efficiency to the testing process and test the cases themselves. In doing so, as you experience the Development team's planning, QA can anticipate its testing workload against the deliverables, while being able to track execution against expectations during the iterative development process. Also central to your success in the role will be your previous experience with companies that supported both legacy customers with patch releases and new product introductions. With our push toward more automation and a more established, solid automation infrastructure for your team we will look to your knowledge and experience for guidance. If you're ready to harness your QA management experience and bring our Quality Assurance to the next tier then we invite you to knock our QA socks off!
