I am treating each of these vehicles with 3 tanks of product, (at no cost to the owners), because the factory says. " gasoline engines will get optimal results within 3 tankfuls." Just last night another test vehicle did a fill up. The owner called me and then came over to my house to show me the gas receipt with the odometer reading, and after entering that info in my computer spread sheet, I treated her fuel tank. This vehicle is a 2001 Blazer with 106,000 miles. The baseline mpg was 13.2. 1st tank of treated fuel 16.58 mpg An increase of 3.28 miles per gallon. This is an astounding 24.66%. The owner of the vehicle, when she called me to ask if she could come over, already was commenting about having extra power and noticing a smoother running engine. Her savings at the gas pump are as follows: Price of gas per gallon $3.55 24.66% discount .875 Her net cost per gallon $2.675 If she was paying for the fuel treatment it costs about .15 per gallon .15 so her net cost would be $2.825 per gallon. With her 11.2 gallon purchase she saved $9.80. One needs to remember that a single vehicle test with just one or two tanks does not represent a true scientific result. We have been very diligent in our efforts to get good data. In these examples we have demanded that the vehicle owners show us their receipts with the odometer readings, prior to beginning this fuel testing on their vehicles. On Oct. 28, 2007 at 2:45 A.M about one mile south of Carefree Highway a car hit and killed my husband Ed while he was changing a flat tire that we had. The driver of the car knows what they did, because they pulled to the side of the road, backed up a little and then when they realized what they had done they took off almost causing another accident with two other cars that had just passed. The car in question is a dark colored sedan late 1980's to early 1990's car, I believe it may be a Honda Civic. The car would have damage to the passenger side and to the underbody passenger side of the car....this car would need a complete makeover including a paint job. <![CDATA[Here is an update of our testing this brand new product. If you remember, the manufacturer says everyone will get a 10% - 20% increase in MPG. A customer will see results in 3 tankfuls (in a gasoline engine). If one is able to get a 10% increase, here are our calculations of any savings. Gas $3.50 per gallon a 10% savings is .35 per gallon. The treatment cost about .15 per gallon. Net savings of .20 per gallon at a 10% increase in mpg. So the actual cost of the $3.50 per gallon fuel is $3.30 In case you don't know, we are testing this on a variety of vehicles and after getting a baseline mpg we treat the vehicle for 3 tanks. This product is not available to the public yet, but will be in about 3 weeks or so. They are looking for distributors. Today's posting is the continuing results of this product being used in a Honda VTX. Vehicle Details: 2002 1800 cc approx 14,000 miles Baseline mpg was 33.3. The first tank of treated fuel resulted in 38.16 mpg which was an increase of 4.86 mpg (over 14% increase) The second tank of treated fuel resulted in 39.93 mpg which is an increase of 6.63 mpg (over 19% increase) The dollars and cents of this specific test so far: 1st tank fuel at $3.61 per gallon 14% savings is .50 per gallon. (MAY 13, 2008) - A second rally in support of school libraries and information technology will be held at the Mesa Public Schools Curriculum Services Center. The organizer of the rally is the Arizona Coalition for School Libraries and Information Technology (ACSLit), which advocates for reversing the trend of school district governing boards eliminating or significantly reducing school library media services as part of district cost-saving measures. A statewide petition in support of strong school libraries and information technology, launched at the first rally on April 22, has garnered signatures from over 1200 Arizona residents. The rally will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m. prior to the Mesa Public Schools Governing Board meeting at 549 N. Stapley Drive. Mesa Public Schools, Arizona's largest school district serving 74,000 students, recently announced a three-year plan to eliminate all school librarian positions as part of a cost-savings measure. Library media services will be discussed at the Board meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. “The Mesa Public Schools Governing Board and Superintendent are interested in and receptive to alternative ideas that retain certified teacher-librarians,” says Coalition spokesperson and coordinator Ann Ewbank. “Mesa’s situation is not unusual in Arizona and by advocating for school library funding at the state level, we hope that we can assist school districts in providing quality library and information technology services.” School districts around the state have been reducing library services in order to balance their budgets. This renewal project was paid for with your TAX dollars. FAUX #1 : Renovations; renovations means to renew, make like new again, etc. I lived at the Park Lee Apartments before, during and after the (make like new again) project. I had to move from my old apartment on Highland Ave. to a (made like new) apartment on 16th. The New Management CO tried to get me to sign an inventory sheet claiming every was new; new area rugs (not true) new kitchen appliances (not true), new bathroom fixtures (not true). The kitchen stove was old. The burner covers were so bent up they wouldn't lay flat on the stove and you couldn't set a pan on them. The oven was still dirty with burnt on food in it. The refrigerator was old and there was still stuff in the freezer. The new kitchen cabinets, they say are solid wood, are the absolute cheapest available in the world and I found a gap under the corner cabinet that left a hole going out to the outside wall. Roaches were coming in through that hole. I pluged it up myself. The kitchen flooring was not put down solid so it is starting to curl up were the kitchen floor meets the living room entrance. The kitchen door would not lock. It has a dead bolt lock but the hole in the door frame for the dead bolt was about 2 inches off. When the so called maintenance came to fix it they ended up making a hole in the kitchen wall. It's a mess. The bathtub was old. The faucet in the tub was old. The area rugs in the living room and bedroom are old and frayed at the corners and dotted with spots they couldn't clean off. When I got fed up with the way it looked in the room and pulled the area rug up I found piles of paint chips, plaster, and dirt so thick you couldn't see the floor underneath. The ceiling on the balcony is falling down. It was falling down the day I moved in. Someone had made a sad attempt to shore it up by putting some large nails under it in a couple of places; it wasn't working, it's been steadily falling down around the nails. Paint was slopped on. The green paint on the doors was slopped outside the door frames onto the walls. A six year old might have done this work. During the renovation I witnessed maintenance employees out in the alleyway washing refrigerators and stoves down with soapy water and a garden hose, yet the management wanted me to sign a statement agreeing that all of the stuff was new. I refused to sign it and they wouldn't give me a copy of my inventory report. All of the other units were pretty much like mine in terms of (made like new) except for the ones that were worse. I have looked this place over again and again and I cannot find 6 million dollars work of anything. That's not the end. It gets worse. Since the great renowaste, we have gone through one bad management company after another. I don't believe for one minute that they took that application fee from prospective tenants and used it to do a background check. The number of Gang Punks, Drug Dealers and Prostitutes we have had as neighbors speaks for the incompetence of the management. The last former manager was stealing money from tentants by raising their rent and pocketing the difference. She raised my rent in the middle of the month without notifying me. In the middle of the following month she left a fifth day notice on my door, letting me know how much more money I owed and of course if I didn't pay up right away I would be evicted from this fine establishment. I went to her office and demanded an explaination. Judging from her reaction I don't believe she expected anyone to challenge her. She had already cashed my rent check, which ment, even if the check wasn't enough, I still would have owed her nothing. I explained this to her and I served her with a notice of "Failure To Provide Notice of Increase" It was obvious that this woman knew nothing about the "Landlord Tenant Act". Now we have another new management company. They started by handing out a 6 page book of micromanagement rules. Already the good tenants, what few they have, don't like these people and so far after 3 weeks they have done nothing to solve any of the real problems here. They have devoted several paragraphs to pets, however pets have nothing to do with the gang punks, drug dealers, and prostitutes who have taken over the building at 1611 W Peirson. It was vacated several months ago by all of the former tenants. Since then the AC units were stolen. The refrigerator was stolen from one unit and they are literally hanging out in there and using the apartments for a place to do drugs, have sex and deal. I'm not kidding. All of the doors are open. All of the managements, past and present know about it and still there it sits drawing the bad guys into our community, yet their bigest concern is whether or not we are obeying the pet policies, or that we know the proper way to load our dishwasher or how to use our garbage disposal. In this "Park Like Community" if I didn't have a dog who stays awake while I'm sleeping I would never be able to close my eyes at night. I don't see why someone who obviously doesn't have a lot of money should be taken to the cleaners with non refundable pet deposits and pet rent so they can feel safe enough to sleep at night. In The Park Lee Apartments there are many vacant units. Some entire buildings are vacant. Some have become home to vagrants and criminals. The pictures you see hear are of one building currently being used for criminal activity. I called the police and I have been told by them that they are unable to follow through with any arrests for trespass because the property owners will not file charges. Keep in mind when you see the photos that I was able to just walk in and take the them. This building has been empty and dirty for months. I took these photos 05/12/08 and the new management started weeks ago. Drs dont talk money, their trying to get all the exams done, and write notes for the office manager to interpurt into the plan that is needed or requested. Its great when you can find someone whose willing to not ask the new patient for any cash for this exam, many offices charge the insurance what they can and hit the patient up for the copay. Everyone wakes up and goes to work to get paid, it just so happens in the medical and dental fields, alot of thier work deals with insurance companies. The amount they get from hmo's vs ppo's is very different, hence you hear of the outrageous amounts they bill to ppo's, it offsets the super low money they get from patients with hmo insurance. It is the responsibility of anyone, going to any type of business to find out about the costs to them or thier insurance company, BEFORE accepting or requesting services, like I said, noone goes to work to see how much work they can perform for free. <![CDATA[While I can understand your frustration if this situation is true, the fact of the matter is that CPS is not the authorirty you should have gone to if your children were making accusations about thier father. You should have called the police. The police should have been the ones to investigate and decide whether or not the children were safe. What you are accusing your ex husband of is CRIMINAL and you should have taken the appropriate steps necessary to make sure that he was prosecuted. The fact that instead you called an agency that you thought would keep your kids from him tells me that it was more about keeping the children from their father rather than prosecuting him and keeping not only your children safe but any others he may have come across. I can tell you that CPS does not take molestation accusations lightly. But had you gone to the proper authorities your children would have recieved what is called a forensic interview with people who are specifically trained to find out if a child has been molested. I filed reports with CPS many times, only to be told by CPS or the police that my girls had to go to their unsupervised visitation with their father, and that I was risking losing custody of my girls by filing the reports. When my girls reported that their father had taken hundreds of naked pictures of them, the reaction of both CPS and the police was nonchalant. Nobody ever conducted any searches of Scott’s property to try and determine whether or not the pictures were criminal. Instead, authorities decided that the pictures that the girls had described did not rise to the level of criminality. Imagine being five or seven years old and having to describe in graphic detail the photographs that your own father had taken. When confronted with making a recorded statement to strangers, young children are not likely to include all of the details. CPS was so lazy that they opted to make a determination without getting all of the information and without performing due diligence. Now, my daughter has revealed that for the past two to three years she has been sexually abused by her father. The current situation with my daughter could have and should have been prevented by CPS. Arizona CPS was presented with facts regarding the photography that my ex-husband was subjecting my daughters to. All of the experts agreed that this was “grooming” behavior. Had CPS stepped up and done what they were designed to do, my daughter would have not been subjected to the abuse that she has now suffered. My daughters are safe now no thanks to CPS.]]>
