<![CDATA[OK I found this black and white Male possible German Shepherd mixed breed Dog with WHITE EYES with a speck of blue? at the intersection of Fredericksburg Rd and Pasadena St. I found him on Wednesday 07-23-08 at about 9:45 AM, he wandered into the store I am working at. By the looks of it his owner had just washed him because when he wandered in he smelled of dog shampoo and his fur coat was still slightly wet. One of my coworkers said he looked like a puppy still & was probably only about 4 or 5 months old. The animal control worker that picked him up said he might be 7 months old. He had on a black collar with a blue tag that said he was microchiped with the AVID system (<a href="http://www.avidmicrochip.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.avidmicrochip.com/</a>) but when I called their 1-800-336-AVID (1-800-336-2843) with the TRACKING #: 021*871*299 They told me the owner had yet to register their pet with the owner's information so there was nothing they could do, but tell me that San Antonio Animal Care Services was the buyer of that microchip and that they must of already adopted that dog into a family. So they should know who the owner's were. But with my bad luck I called San Antonio Animal Care services 210-207-4738 and for some reason they could NOT come up with any information. But this needs to happen soon since the animal control worker said they only hold the pet a Maximum of 5 days before they euthanize them and put them to sleep since they do not have a lot of space. I know that they do adoptions at the kennel but I'm sure they also do adoptions in front of a lot of pet supply shops such as PETSCO and PETSMART. Please if you of anyone you know who has recently lost a great dog near that area, call and let them know. Or if you just want to adopt a large but still young and very skinny male dog go to San Antonio Animal Services & adopt a great companion for life. Like I said before he's a male dog young between 4 and 7 months old, still very long and lanky/skinny, he hasn't put on any of his adult weight yet. He has a black and white coat. He is a mixed breed German Shepherd, possibly mixed with a wolf or a siberian husky. Very Important he has WHITE EYES with a blue? speck of color. Super nice very Obedient, only drags his feet if you are taking him some place he doesn't want to go. The confirmation number 311 gave me for the case is #: 2008044596. He was picked up by Animal Control on 07-23-08 at 10:30 AM. Black nose and snout and very tall he can put his nose and face in your lap when you are standing and he is sitting so I would say about 3 feet tall when sitting on his hind legs.
