| I am looking for SERIOUS people who are interested in volunteering with terminally ill patients. I have received alot of emails saying they are, request applications, then you never hear from them again.
We have over 80 patients currently on Hospice Care that could benefit from a Volunteer. There is training monthly for anyone that fills out an application, passes the background check and shows interest in spending time with someone that does not have long to live. Read a book, read the newspaper, listen to music, talk, push them around in the wheel chair. Just 30 minutes a week or more would last a lifetime to these patients. These patients are not contagious, they are not going to make you sick. These patients need a friend, some to make a difference in the end of their life. We have patients all over San Antonio, Poteet, Jourdanton and Pleasanton. They need someone. Is that someone you? If so email Rdavison@cimahospice.net
ONLY SERIOUS PEOPLE APPLY!!!! | Be A Part of Something BIG – Volunteer with VITA!

San Antonio VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) is one of the nation’s largest volunteer program. Every year, VITA provides FREE tax help for individuals with low-to moderate income (under $45,000 yearly income) who cannot prepare their own tax return. The typical client coming to VITA is a single mother with children. Last year during tax season, volunteers processed over 40,000 tax returns.

Individuals interested in volunteering with VITA complete the free Integrated Tax Return Preparation training certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The training covers basic and intermediate tax return preparation. Once certified, volunteers will be assigned to VITA sites in neighborhood community centers, libraries, churches, and other
convenient locations.

Additionally, volunteers receive training to alert tax payers to special credits – such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) – that often help these individuals pay for their basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing.

“The training not only benefits our VITA customers, it also helps the volunteers themselves, allowing them to learn more about their own personal taxes while providing a valuable service to the community,” said Dennis Campa, director of the Department of Community Initiatives. “Anyone can volunteer. If an individual has a desire to help, we can equip them with the necessary skills to do the job. Our volunteers are the link to the VITA program. A successful VITA site is dependent upon well-trained enthusiastic volunteers.”

How can YOU help?

1. Sign-up to become a VITA volunteer. Call (210) 222-2975.

2. Referrals
Let others know about the VITA volunteer opportunity. These individuals can be employees, friends, family, neighbors – ANYONE.

3. Business Sponsorship
If you work for a small business and you and your employees sponsor a VITA site (various sponsorships available), we will thank you by FREE recognition of your business/corporation, with marketing opportunities and media awareness, etc. (Please call (210) 222-2975 for more info.)

How much time commitment is involved?

San Antonio VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program) is one of the nation’s largest volunteer program. Every year, provides FREE tax help for individuals with low-to moderate income (under $45,000 yearly income) who cannot prepare their own tax return.

Once certified, volunteers will be assigned to VITA sites in neighborhood community centers, libraries, churches, and other convenient locations.

Centre is the largest care facility in the West End of Vancouver. It
provides independent housing, assisted living and complex care for
elders. Haro Park supports the Eden philosophy and is committed to
creating a human habitat where life revolves around close and
continuing contact with plants, animals, children and youth. Haro
Park Centre aims at establishing a homelike environment that
emphasizes a quality of life supporting the physical, intellectual,
emotional, and spiritual well-being of each person.

Volunteers will contribute to the quality of life of the elders by
taking part in a multifaceted program involving residents in
gardening, art, music activities, walking and just being outside in
the summer time.
Volunteers would accompany staff and
residents on outings allowing the involvement of more residents.
Volunteers would be paired with residents for walking and will
assist staff with the gardening, art and music programs. Volunteers
will accompany residents on trips to the museum, art gallery, parks
as well as bus trips for picnics or prearranged tours. Walks or bus
trips will be organized to sites for art sessions or gathering items
for art at Haro Park Centre such as leaves, flowers, etc. The group
will help organize a walking event in which residents compete at
different levels – walking category, wheelchair, etc. Volunteers are
expected to be creative, flexible, respectful and responsive to the
residents’ needs.

Location: Haro Park Centre is
located in Downtown Vancouver, close to museums, theatre, art

other attractions. Vancouver’s most popular shopping area – the

heart of Vancouver is Stanley Park, the city's most famous landmark,
and one of the largest parks in any urban centre in North America.
There are wooded trails, open playing fields, secluded lakes,
gorgeous gardens, and the Vancouver Aquarium, the largest in Canada.
A seawall walkway meanders along the park's perimeter, with
beautiful views of the city skyline, the harbour, beaches, and the
spectacular North Shore Mountains. Vancouver's fame as one of the

| We're looking for others that have attended Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University courses.

We've been praying about it and wanted to know if there's anyone else that has taken Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University course, and could possibly help us with a little of the outstanding debt if God has blessed your life. We're still trying to work on getting it paid down but the interest is really hurting our effort to pay it down. We're hoping that after we get this last part paid off that we can start giving to others like the last lesson encourages us to. Our family consist of both of us and our 5 children.

My wife and I have completed the Financial Peace University course by Dave Ramsey, and we attend Bandera Rd Community Church in NW San Antonio. We started with 23,000 in debt and have been able to reduce our debt (which was all legal expenses) down to just under 12,000 which we Praise God for.

Thank you for your consideration and prayer.

Have a blessed day and I pray that we'll be able to institute the lessons learned in the last video about giving to others ourselves so that we can be a blessing to others. | If | | |
