Assist with posting, denials, and aging as needed and directed by Billers. 9. Assist with the handling of incoming and outgoing mail for the billing department to include sorting, reviewing, and distributing to appropriate individuals and departments (including faxes and claims for internal payment processing). Includes preparing outgoing mail on a daily basis, assuring correct postage, meter date, return address information and timely processing. 10. Maintain an orderly filing system for all processes in regards to the denials team as well as maintaining compliance standards. 11. Upkeep of policy and procedure files and billing manuals for the department. 12. Responsible for the ordering and/or distribution of all departmental supplies and upkeep of the supply cabinet. 13. Responsible for requesting maintenance and training on all office equipment, i.e.: copier/printer/scanner/fax, etc… 14. Attend billing and Healthpro workshops as required. 15.
