Several volunteer projects were organized with the rainwater harvesting theme, and almost successfully completed such model in one of the villages of Moodabidri. Volunteers who participated in the workcamp dug hundreds of trenches to stand the water so that it percolates into the soil and increases the water table of the surrounding area/region.

International volunteer groups this year will continue the same project, along with the idea of having awareness programmes in schools in the region.
