He gets along great with my 2 older kids, but my littlest is a little rough with him and therefore he is a little rough back. I just think he would be a better fit in a different home. I am not looking to make a profit off of him, only what I paid for him. I have treated him for fleas and wormed him since I have had him. He will need to see the vet. But people who are crossposting and forwarding the emails don't know when the pets are saved, so very often a post is no longer accurate by the time it gets out into the network of volunteers and concerned pet lovers. But cross posting is very important to reaching lots of people. If anyone has expressed an interest in saving her, maybe ask those people if they are interested in saving another cat instead, as there are many still there that haven't been saved. And while it is important to update the posts so they are the most accurate, the ad was still useful before it was known the cat was saved, as it brought forth caring souls that could end up helping in other ways or saving other cats. ]]>

<![CDATA[Thinking logically? Not according to the abandoned/neglected/abused dogs & cats I have encountered in my 7 years in Georgia. Humans fall in love with that "CUTE" little puppy/kitten until the newness of the "toy" wears off. Responsibility hits people like a ton of bricks. Now the "toy" needs to be taken care of, ie., food, vet, toys. That toy wants to be played with when the human has other "more important" things to do like surf the computer, go out to eat, go shopping, take a trip, etc. Birthdays, holidays and the like are not the perfect time to buy a pet for SOMEONE ELSE, unless you commit to the care of that animal yourself. Research the breed for temperament, medical, physical needs. Are they compatible to your living situation (apartment, house, time you alot to spend with them)? In the past 7 weeks I have fostered 6 dogs and 9 newborn puppies that you people didn't have the time or resources for. 4 of these dogs were abandoned on country roads or dumpster sites, and 2 were severely abused by a puppy mill "reputable CKC breeder". You want to be spontaneous? Buy some flowers or candy or a new toy, NOT a pet. You want unconditional love to flow both ways for years to come? Adopt one of these poor "toys" that others have grown tired of. Have a blessed day, especially all of you volunteer rescue workers and those with a heart that have adopted already. : )]]>

What chances do you think they will have??? Not much. They are full . Do you want them to die. I agree with the lady who was complaing about asking $100.00. You aren't going to get anything when you drop off the dog. You will have to pay a fee unless you are one of the idiots who just leave the dogs on the side of the road. If they get your license plate, you can be charge for abandonment. YOu are better off finding a good home at a lower fee. Let's try and work to find the dogs a home. Reba had suggested i collect and then write them a check since their a small town vet , and don't want to be inundated with phone calls dog was pulled from animal control taken to vet by "rescuers" then left at vet . one of the "rescuers" then called another volunteer and told her to pick him up, to foster no notice just told her to do it .. the "rescuer" then told the vet that the volunteer was responsible for the bill. the Vet has been tiring to contact the "rescuers" for over a week, the last contact they had they told the vet "your too expensive" note: $450.00 for high HeartWorm positive and all shots/exams. plus they gave them a discount. in this area it's NOT expensive. they refuse to pay the bill or answer the phone. ]]>
