The musical "influences" that I play in and have a style like are in the vein of the Allman Brothers Band, BB king, Bob Dylan, & even Bob Marley. I have numerous "originals" that a dear pastor friend of mine wrote (I was lead guitar in his band), being truly psalms, songs which lyrics are SATURATED with scripture, not just "worship" songs. What I have in mind is to play a mix of covers and originals. I have been in bands that could play covers all night and then turn around and play originals all night at another gig. So, unless you are serious and capable of learning 2 to 4 hours worth of cover material and 2 to 4 worth of original material, then don't reply to this. My original material is a rock/jazz/blues fusion that ranges from a Pink Floyd sound to a Jane's Addiction, Hendrix, Beatles, Jethro Tull vibe. Covers would be along the same lines. I want a drummer and/or percussionist first but also need bass and would consider a 2nd guitarist. Keys or horn or anything unusual are highly welcome. No attitudes, drug/alcohol problems, commitment issues, etc. If you want to jam, then say so. We'll jam.
