How Cities Online Makes Money

Cities Online is free to use, and every city figure comes from a public source named on the page. To pay for it, some pages show buttons to partners: places to stay, tours and tickets, moving quotes, car rentals and similar. If you book through one, the partner may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

Partners never pay for a city's ranking, score or place on a list. Rankings come only from the published formulas on each ranking page. Reader posts and ratings are never paid for and never edited to favor anyone.

Partner buttons are labeled and their links carry rel="sponsored". Some pages may also show ads from an ad network. We do not sell your name, email or your saved maps.
